This is going to come out so good, I know that feeling all too well with the motivation but once you get working on it the time starts to fly and you start to enjoy it again. Do you not have to worry about any overspray around the rest of the stuff in the garage or are the particles dry by the time they land on anything and it's just dust at that point?

Hello Seth, Glad to see the motivation coming back! 😉 the fully equipped door must have been heavy, right? 😱 For safety, I prefer to undress it when it is still mounted on the chassis. Another great video, with cool musics. My next video will be on the ignition distributor...you will have to be patient 😄
@crxseth2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! These doors came off another car, so they were never mounted on this particular car. They were heavy!

Hi Seth First off I have to say for someone who doesn't do body and paint every day you are doing a amazing job I'm impressed. Now I have to tell you the reason you're seeing shrinkage is because you're using Nason products. I'm telling you 100% I dont care how long you let that stuff sit it will always do it. There sealer and epoxy primer is not good there is a reason it half the price of there competitors. It's not worth it you no how hard you have worked it get to the point of primer and sealer please trust me on this 25 years in the business I would never use that company's product for sealing or epoxy priming. They do have decent base paint for repairs or someone on a budget but that's it. Look at it this way the money you have save doing all this work yourself put it into good products. If your selling the car well then it will be someone else problem. But Crx are unicorns and we need to treat the as such.
@crxseth2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info. You are probably right. Next time I do this, I’ll probably step up the product line. I guess you get what you pay for most of the time. It’s nothing a little wet sanding and buffing can’t fix in the future. Guess I better lay the clear to it!
