What are Determinate and Indeterminate Beams || Example solved

This lecture explains the difference between Determinate and Indeterminate Beam. Determinate beam is a type of beam where its unknown reaction can be easily find out by means of equilibrium equations, where indeterminate beam is a type of beam where its support reactions can not be found by equilibrium equations.

Thank you for the video. May I ask why in the third example n=2 instead of 1? In a course I am taking there is a similar example except with a fixed connection to the left side and a roller as the right connection (still with a cantilever). The solution used n=1. Also when I look at that third example it appears that if you placed a point or uniform load at any location I can imagine how the beam would behave and I feel it would remain static.
