This is a beautiful soft & cozy blanket. Thank you for the tutorial and the pattern. It is an easy pattern to follow and is much appreciated. That said, I'm not as fast as the creator of this blanket but I'm fairly fast once I get in my zone. She obviously is able to crochet this blanket in 6 hours. That didn't happen for me. I'm using 3 different colors #6 bulky yarn with a size 10 mm hook. It has taken me approximately 6-7 hours to get 1 foot of blanket crocheted. That means I have 4 more feet to go for a total of 60 inches and another 24 hours of crocheting. That's a total of 30 hours for the entire blanket. I'll need a border around my blanket as well because I tied the yarns together at the end of two rows/rounds per color and will need to hide the knots. This is a more realistic time frame for a novice or intermediate- beginner crocheter. Still, it can be done in a weekend and that's awesome! Happy Holidays to you all. I hope if you make this blanket as a gift your recipient enjoys it for years to come.

It’s because she made a mistake with the audio - she said to yarn over for all three parts of the stitch, but actually you just pull through the second part of it. You only yarn over before putting the hook through the next stitch and before pulling through the last two loops, not in the part where you should just pull through one of the loops. In that part of the audio she said to yarn over at all three stages… Hope it helps

I am now on my second one, the 68 chains still seems too short (I know it is an afghan but I like mine a little bit bigger) so I added 4 chains, I just finished up one skein and it seems like 4 wont be enough
