Always love this island. After 50+ years of visiting we are now trying to live there. Just have to find the right place to buy or land to build if possible. You really don’t need a car as buses are good and footpaths are so well organised with great maps.

I have spent quite some time on the IOW. However it was for a work assignment. What sparks my interest the most is how the IOW is preservation. Keep it the way it is. I've been there as recent as late 2023. Sadly some of my favourite places have succumbed to attrition. Like that quaint eater in Chale Green. Oh watchout for the red squirrels. Have to say never seen one on the island. Always enjoyed the Red Funnel. Plan to get back once more to enjoy the IOW annual festival. Thanks for sharing

The IOW certainly has great options to participate in outdoor activities and I would enjoy walking along that stunning coastline. Loved the gardens at Osborne House too and the quirky accommodation you stayed. Definitely one added to my list! Thanks for introducing it ❤️

Great in depth coverage of so many places! 😊 Many years past I went to Isle of Wight via Wightlink car ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. I plan to return but without car, what ferry options are there from Portsmouth to Ryde Pier if on foot?

There is passenger Ferry, from Portsmouth harbour to Ryde Pier, the Hovercraft, from Southsea to Ryde, then you also have the Red Funnel Passenger Ferry from Southampton to Cowes.

We just toured the island and visited the main spots. Though it’s worth mentioning every country/city/destination has areas that are less touristic, that’s the way it is.

The place we stayed was Tapnell Farm in their Geo Domesand we had a week there 😁 it was a gifted stay so I can’t tell you the price, sorry!

Fantastic vid of the isle of wight. Most ive seen are all dreary and highlighting how dull and horrible it is. This makes the isle of wight look very nice, all places have dreary parts but youve shown some of the good things. Fantastic videoing guys, great coverage.
