if the snaps come out you have a problem. for stitching heavy webbing i take it to a shoe repair guy. they have the equipment to stitch the webbing to fix it. if they fix shoes they can probably fix the heavy webbing .

Excellent redesign ideas, look reasonable and substantial, but... please SLOW DOWN ON THE CAMERA MOVEMENT!! Let us see what you've done before jerking the camera around to something else! It's hard to do that stuff one handed I know, but you have an assistant and the work is worth seeing!

For 15 to 20 cents you can go buy an R key At the hardware store no sewing just 5mins with Need of nose pliers pair it's fixed

tell ya what friend Ive watched your tutorial on these Alice packs and you did great. question can you still put the frame on the medium pack with the mod on the straps? if so Im interested in purchasing a medium Alice pack/ full set up if I can work with the price.

How would you put your shoulder straps on the Alice Pack if your pack doesn't have the D-rings.

At the bottom of the pack you.should find a metal slide on each side that you can attach your straps to.

Ahhh. The large Alice Pack are designed to only be used with a Alice frame where the med alice is made to be used with or without. The solution you created is a good one.

i like the Alice/large for it's capacity . but i do not like it because of it's weight . 6 - 6.5 lbs empty ? too much .

SamsGarageSale too heavy in my opinion , less gear you can take . i try to stay under 25 lbs (not counting food ) . although i have re-worked my large alice with a different frame , down to 4 3/4 lbs now . i think i can live with that for a while. i do want something lighter though .

I ordered a Lg Alice Pack from a site and they have sent me a pack with 6 defects. 2 of the larger exterior pockets are partially ripped off at the corner and the left and right hand side pocket covers are ripped and dont even cover the pouches They sent me 2 left side shoulder straps and the nesting pocket at the top or the pack where the frame nest/attatches up in at the top has a rip on both sides fron sinching down the straps.I got a really bad deal from these guys and all I wanted was a quality Lg Alice pach the way its suppost to be. can you offer me any help
