Any engine that works with a modular engine will work with the Coyote. Tremecs, 4R70s, 6R80s, etc.

i think you forgot to align the transmission to the block?... most new tremecs cant have more than -5 thousandths side load on the input shaft without having shifting isues or effecting the life of the transmission

Hey Bro. Don't give up! I got a 03 Mustang GT/Cobra Project I am working on and I am a left leg below the knee amputee and my car has a 5sp trans! I found a company called Master Shift ( mastershift.com/new-street-manual.html ) they have a kit that can change my manual into a Paddle Shift! So all I have to do is push the clutch in with my Prosthetic leg for 1st and reverse gears Only!...and I can use the Paddle Shift to shift 2nd through 5th gears! Also I found a friend of mind who can do my 5.0L coyote engine swap as well!...So again Don't Give Up!...God Bless!

I don't know a ton about cars, so maybe I'm missing something here. Why would you sit in a chair and bend over to work on the engine? You couldn't just raise the engine up to a more comfortable height? Seems like unnecessary back pain to me

I really like that the bellhousing can be separated from the transmission, it should allow for easy trans replacement even if you can't jack the car up very high.

I think I have a collapsed lifter on my '00 GT, I have a sort of tapping, not a knock or tick, definitely a tap, and I can't tell where it's coming from, not really sure how to tell, also it's really hard to notice it unless I'm driving, and I can only hear it from 1200rpm to about 1800rpm, doesn't seem to do it at all when I rev it up. Is it unsafe to drive just a few months before fixing it? Assuming it is actually just a lifter and nothing really serious. Thanks for any insight! I don't have off street parking at the moment, and I have to constantly move my car for alternate parking.

All depends on your use of the car. With street tires it should be fine if its in good shape, with a sticky tire axle and differential upgrades will be necessary..

By all means you can. I have never had any issues using the ARP assembly lube and proper torque spec and sequence

The 5.0 will bolt to any mod motor V8 5 speed trans. T-5, 3550, T56, etc.
