Wicked dumb question but the starter is suppose to get direct 12v power correct? The starter lead I take it goes to the starter selenoid for start request?
@MillennialDad926 ай бұрын
The red HAAT B wire IS a 12v source, you don’t connect it to a 12v source. If you do the fuse will pop in the control pack fuse box and create a crank no start condition. Ask me how I know

would the stock computer, wiring harness, starter, alternator, and ac compressor to a used 2015 coyote work the same as the kit? for a 95.

Whats the difference between a power pack for a gen1 coyote and a power pack for a gen 2 coyote
@pablito98m.h389 ай бұрын
I saw others videos were they said it was so complicated to do the wiring that will need a technical assistance but you make it look so simple I will do it my self on my 2005 s197

Does this kit work for a 94 cobra sn95 with the 5.0L pushrod motor setup? I'm wanting to coyote swap my 94 sn95 cobra but I'm trying to get as much information on the swap as possible before I start. I'm wanting to put a gen 2 engine in but I'm also wondering if I need to cut the strut towers or will the motor fit without having too? And will my t5 transmission bolt up to the coyote motor or do I need to swap it too? My transmission has been completely rebuilt and is setup to handle around 600 hp. It would be great if I could just drop the coyote motor in without having to cut anything and just rewire everything with new wire harnesses but I don't know if I can yet.

Where I can buy the control pack harness??

We only offer the complete control pack, I have never seen the harness available on it's own.

Is there a big difference if the 5.0 was hooked up to an automatic transmission? 2016 year engine and trans
@cjponyparts6 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you would need, if anything, to control the auto. The engine side is the same. -Bill
@FlyBoyPanda6 жыл бұрын
Is there a similar harness that would bring both the engine and transmission to the same module? I have looked around and i have found the manual transmission is the most common and wasn’t sure if i would need a different module to control it all or a separate module independent from the engine one... not much information on this kind of swap online
@FlyBoyPanda6 жыл бұрын
Do you recommend anywhere specifically where i should look?
@cjponyparts6 жыл бұрын
There is no aftermarket controller for the 2016 auto yet, a few companies are working on it. The only option now is all the wiring and PCMs from a 2016 Mustang with an auto.
@FlyBoyPanda6 жыл бұрын
CJ Pony Parts one last quick question, so if for example i got a crashed 2018 mustang 5.0 with the auto from copart Would i have everything controller/module, harness wise to just do the swap into an older car? Ex. I would take all the electric components and the engine and trans and would that be All i need to control the engine/trans

Bill and team @CJ Pony Parts - This is a great explanation video! Watching this took away all of the mystery of not only what the Control is, but more importantly where to connect everything. I’m an old school Pushrod 5.0 guy, and this really helped take away the intimidation of moving to a Coyote engine swap for my Fox Mustang. THANK YOU!!

I've got the coyote in my sn95 GT hooked up to a T56 and this is the next step. Thanks for basically laying it out for us! Doesn't seem as tedious as I thought it would be

Does the FRPP control back also control knock sensors, injectors, coils, etc? Or do you need to have the factory harness to work together with the control pack?

I have a Mustang year 96 regular 3.8 motor what year of motor can i put with a 5.0 motor for My 96 Mustang and what do i need??
@cjponyparts4 жыл бұрын
If you like that body style I would suggest trying to find a 94-95 GT which already came with the 5.0 pushrod engine. The cost to swap your car would be far more than the value. To swap either 5.0 you would need to swap the K member, wiring harness, computer, and several other parts like the rear would need to be upgraded.

mm wish there was a video of where the actual connections were made.

So essentially the ccrm for the sn95 will be eliminated? Do you have a video that explains how to get the swap to interface with the stock sn95 cluster? I have an 96 v6.
@cjponyparts6 жыл бұрын
I was not worried about the stock cluster so I never researched how to make it work. My speedometer and fuel gauge work, the others would require you to figure out the sending unit wiring.

wouldn't constantly running your fuel pump cause it to have issues, like wear faster?
@Zerogivengarage7 жыл бұрын
The fuel pump is running constantly when you drive. It is on when the key is on and most time the car should be running so there won't be any issues.

Any 11-17 coyote will bolt into a new edge without a problem. You will need a control pack to run the engine along with specific exhaust, etc.

No it does not, the cruise is handled by the factory computer. The control pack does not have that option on its own.

@Zerogivengarage8 жыл бұрын
I have not messed with the entire cluster since I have gauges in my car. Your fuel gauge and speedo work without any additional changes.
