If you’re car have problems related gear initially step You can check any software updates in DCT transmission control unit Also any fault code is available then guide test also help you to solve problem, you can change fluid ,in DCT Then valve body

im just hoping to get some help regarding a light that popped up in my 2017 cla 250, it went from Service A to Service B and then Service AR which I found nothing about. I've search everywhere looked at all forums and I got no type of explanation of what is needed so it can go away. I even called Mercedes they don't even know any suggestions?

Can you explain , colour of AR or which side of instrument cluster My suggestion is you should ignore it but do you want to disappear this AR Cause 01, power train control units old software,need software update Engine control unit, Transmission control unit, Transfer case control unit for 4Matic Cause 02- instrument cluster meter software is old need update easy way for AR light is remove battery negative terminal for 5min then fixed,

Nice video resolution. My gla 250 4matic has a little jump from 1st gear to 2nd and reverse . It has 90k km. What's your opinion? Will transmission oil and filter change make a difference ?

First check fault code 👩‍💻 in DCT transaction control unit if fault code available proceed guide test , Second,you have to check( DCT) Dual clutch transmission fluid level with 🖥️computer 3rd - check software update in DCT control unit, Last you can replace fluid

Just buy cheap generic eBay Mercedes dipstick. Works just fine. Check level after a drive. On a flat surface and in idle. Level 4 on Transmission dipstick. l had originally purchased 2 transmission dipsticks for Mercedes w203 and w176 but both gave the same reading. Cheers

Hey. Thank you for the video. My CLA (2015) has been making a LOUD roaring noise. Almost as if something is loose. I purchased a machine to determined the fault and a few codes came up regarding transmission. Mechanics want £800 just to look at my gear box! I’ve checked the symptoms of low transmission fluid and it mentioned a loud noise, from parts grinding. I think I need to update my transmission oil. Can you advise, please? Codes I am concerned about: U010187: Communication with control unit "Transmission" has a malfunction.The message is missing. U010387: Communication with the electronic selector lever module has a malfunction.The message is missing. U119800: No CAN message was received from control unit "A80 (Intelligent servo module for DIRECT SELECT)". U010100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Transmission". C037100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Transmission". C054100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Shift module". СО6А100: No CAN message was received from control unit "Engine". C038500: One or more signals sent from control unit "Engine" via the CAN bus is implausible. C074300: The global variant coding could not be read out of the CAN bus.

Yes first of all replace gearbox oil and clean all connectors that are related to transmission,because many faults releted to can communication , while replacement of transmission fluid check metal particles in oil and filter

2nd thing this model front wheel drive car flywheel bearing is mostly damage, flywheel or you can say drive plate That on rotate engine with self stater ,if flywheel bearing damage it will make sounds like metal or grinding when you'll increase engine speed it'll increase sounds, it look like sound coming from transmission or something loose inside transmission

Actually in GLA 200 DCT transmission is used ,the capacity of transmission fluid is 5.5L How you can know after filling 5L transmission oil need top up or no need to top up, (1st) you can visit work shop for checking transmission fluid level, For fluid level we are using dipstick gauge, For fluid level checking it will take 20 minutes if the transmission oil temperature between 40 to 50 ‘C (2nd ) if you’re filling any Delay shifting and jerk while changing gear may be cause of low transmission fluid (3rd) any malfunction capital. (F) this capital F sometimes transmission showing Faults , or engine light then need to check fluid level in Transmission

Dct transmission need computer for correct oil level But if you replace two filters Then this oil capacity If you don't have computer then fill 5.4 L

If you don't have dipstick, And you change the fluid of transmission, If you fill the fluid 5.3L ,or 5.5L this is tha capacity of dual clutch transmission before 2020 all dual clutch transmission

But recently we bought a 2021 GLA250 though it is new and do not need any service at this time but I am a DIY person and I am thinking way ahead when I need to do the transmission oil change myself so in that case, I was doing research and did not find any good information on how to change GLA 250 (2021 year) transmission fluid. But your Video is excellent must be 90 percent the same except for the refill port as it does have a dipstick. So do you think fluid level check might be similar to GLE 350 where the drain plug has a plastic overfill tube? And same drain hole is a refill port.Appreciate your help

@@SUB-Entertainment The Mercedes EAST / WEST Engines like in the W176 ETC don't use the Plastic overflow pipe like the traditional Mercs with transmission sumps under the gearbox. Best to buy a cheap generic Merc transmission dipstick on EBAY . Fits most Mercs. Transmission oil HOT should be on level 4 of dipstick with engine at idle and flat surface. Works for me just fine.

@@SUB-Entertainment Hello. there is a service tube. hard to see from the top. Look under the large air intake hose. it's about 50mm from the radiator with a black plastic cap over the inlet tube. Pull the cap up to get off. insert your Mercedes transmission dipstick. If it's a problem, remove the large air intake hose. Plastic cap is reusable.
