But, there have been numerous writings that have very clearly highlighted that area was lost, there's no infrastructure but land has been lost. India may have realised figures of Chinese casualties but there is no evidence, just a statement, surely it isn't right to insist on people to accept official statements as gospel truths. As always, very credible perspective and based on actual events, statements and documents available in public domain. Official political maps of our Govt, always showed Aksai Chin and POK as parts of India, this is nothing new. Similarly, steps like forming J&K and Ladakh as UTs, revocation of Art 370 and reiteration to take back Aksai Chin and POK are all for domestic reasons. What perhaps, rattled Chinese was the steps taken by Govt to improve roads infra near LAC. Conceding to Chinese aggression and signing Sept 20 agreement, are certainly demoralizing the Services who lost 20 brave soldiers and asked to vacate Kailash Range, patrolling points and approx 1000 sqkm territory. The inferences are so obvious and surely our Govt and the Services must be taking some steps to counter the obvious visible threats.

Trust and friendly relationship are the best quarrantee for security. Definitely not two fronts wars mentality, which is so arrogant, belligerent and untrustworthy. Well, it takes much courage, wisdom, sincerity and compromise especially after centuries of colonism, foreign meddlings and western hegemony history to resolve the matters. Indians democracy definitely not helping but anybody could brag to your liking. The current atmosphere is the living proof. Your analysis and chronological of events have provided much in-depth views and consequential incidents. Many blunders and election priorities had taken much considerations than to resolve the border issues wisely. The easiest path, just win the election first. Therefore, the twisted/inaccurate reports or claims received much more coverage as the general perception of Indians than your views or claims which are of much logic and details. If blunders or unwise actions taken happened recently, so much so in 1962 too when China was so weak and US is on India's side plus the Russians. To me India joined SCO, QUAD, BRICS, Anti BRI, Rejected SCO Economy Frameworks, withdrew from RCEP last minutes, etc only shown India's weakness, incompetency, insecurity and lack of vision as a rising Great Power or Leader. Unfortunately, your analysis may be great but somehow not towards bringing or promoting more understandings or trusts building by avoiding unwise moves/actions. Your conclusion often ended up by fanning the animosity and encouraging actions to nourish more distrusts/misleading policies between neighbors. Again just like the India's participation of international organizations or rival groupings with an obvious self centred nature and unreliable partner of all, for US or China or anybody. Praveen ji's assessment is correct. But he must also note that Pak is crumbling internally partly due to sectarian issues, rise of TTP, collaboration of ttp with baloch and increased Indian activity in destabilising pak using R & AW. India knows very well that PLA cannot be defeated. At the best, Indian army can defend itself. Pakistani army is facing biggest threat along Durand line and N waziristan. India's strategy seems to be holding on to the territory along LAC and deploy army in equal numbers as the PLA are doing. But at the same time, India is working at weakening the other front (Pak) by using covert means. We simply cannot weaken China. India cant face a 2 front war. Praveen ji's assessment about PLA's superior capabilities in Space cyber and EW domains is also being countered by India by collaborating with Israel and Taiwan. It is a fact that we cannot match the Chinese. But at least now, we have started working towards it.
