He is not Superman yet, einstein.. this is a young teenager just learning his strength and if you paid enough to the show... he didn't have his X ray vison, heat vision or super hearing when the first episodes first appeared or all of his abilities as we know Superman to have today . But as each ability came, he had to learn to use them and control it properly just as child does when he or she is just learning to walk. I watched all of the episodes in the first few seasons and when his heat vision developed, he was setting things accidently on fire and had to practice to use it on command...
