Pretty cool detail: The reason this War suit looks lighter, less armored, can take less damage,the helmet can retract now. Is because this is a completely different suit from his old one that Clark destroyed. The first one was made by luthorcorp and extremely outfitted to fight Superman,Where this was just built using the design of the old one and built by John irons alone.

The fact that Superman was able to fight off Zod more than the other subjects is probably because he’s spent years under yellow sunlight, which has conditioned his body to a stronger resistance to the Eradication in a physical sense (unlike Morgan). But, since physical strength isn’t everything, the positive feelings from his memories of his family, something to fight for, is what’s allowing for his mental strength. See, because the fear of losing his loved ones is what makes him want to fight more, and since Kyle said the negative feelings, giving up, is what strengthens the Eradication, then positive feelings weaken it.

Edge would kill Batman easily. Most kryptonians aren't as strong as Superman because Clark spent much more time under the yellow sun and Clark always holds back. Edge has been on earth the same amount of time as Clark and he doesn't hold back. Bats would die as soon as edge had him on sight, literally. Plus, every story in which Batman defeats some incredibly powerful hero, that hero is always nerfed and dumbed by the writing so Batman could stand a chance.

If all fairness, the way he was written on Supergirl, it’s like he was a castrated version of the character and Tyler Hoechlin’s performance was ..just ok…but with GOOD writing and story, and a great supporting cast in this show, he is absolutely SHINING here and is able to show his potential w/ the character…totally knocking it out of the park.

Thats the song we hear at the beginning of every episode when they show the title, so it made it more epic, it's like Superman's theme

Not to mention we heard this theme for the first time in the Pilot episode of the show which had more of a calming take on it, the title card theme that appears in every episode had more of a hopeful vibe to it, and the one in this episode (1x12) had a more epic tone on it. God, I love the soundtrack from this series.
