Much much better the slow mo waves the color of his clothes being blurred from his speed. It made superspeed even more cool. I wasn’t impressed with how it looked in the Flash.

The Flash just blurs everything with lightning. But for Smallville, every episode his superspeed "trail" would be different depending on what color clothes he was wearing. And like at 3:42 his environment interacts with him.

I so want a SUPERMAN comic book universe, in which SMALLVILLE is the canon origin and CK youth... i would literally donate most of my money for that to be a thing - Lana being a badass but tragic love history Cloe existing as Lois cousin Pete existing as a good friend Lex being the son of a powerfull man, instead of just some alcoholic loser in a bad neighborhood Lex and Clark young relationship being the milestone of what they have become, instead of them knowing each other in their adulthood - Smallville's CK developed personality would contrast with Bruce Wayne personality even more than in comics. SUPERMAN overall makes so much sense once you are aware of Smallville origin history, they nailed CK so well with this series though
