i watched this movie with my grandma, i was 6 or 7 yo that time. we watched it on b/w tv, powered with car battery. there was no electricity in our village. i didn't know the story. i didn't even know the title. the part i remember the most is when klever opens the alien's armor. this movie was thrilling but looks weird now. watching it now i feel dragged to the past, when my grandma was still here. thank's for uploading this movie

B-movie gem! Something of a Monty-Python-meets-aliens with lots of off-beat comedy, knights, romance... Definitely not a mainstream film, but worth sitting through. Highlights include: Harvey Keitel, and Maria Lamor (as the princess). While the latter's performance is convincing, the former's leaves something to be desired. Dumb funny, good plot... What more could you want? Well... Available from multiple sources, the quality ranges. 'Needs all the help it can get. And deservedly. Not exactly competition for 'House of the Dragon' but a wonderfully entertaining movie.

Plus the eccentric Klaus Kinsky as the alchemist. That was quite a surprise. He was a good actor, just kind of a prick and insanely difficult to work with, apparently. He went kinda nuts and had this phase where he would shout Bible passages to people on stage and claim he was like Jesus or something, all while being weirdly angry.

PLOT: A medieval town believes their Princess has been abducted by a dragon. However, her captor is no dragon but an alien in a spacecraft. Klever, the Knight faces the challenges of his life as he fights to rescue Princess Alba, as she grows closer in love with her alien captor.

Many of the scenes are right out of Jabberwocky (1977) ... This movie is just insane. Over half way through, and I still do not know what to expect next. Oh, and Klaus is in it :) with Harvey Keitel. How about this as a plot twist "Knights attempt to rescue a princess from a dragon ... and a UFO comes out of the swamp...." Just wow!

Imagine Princess Bride but SHIT. Getting second hand embarrassment for Klaus. No idea how he ended up in this movie. Honestly think i could really enjoy this movie if i was under 10. A lot of movies involved in this and all attempts fail. But to give credit the Alien side was not bad for the budget. I liked the fact he didn't speak words as such. Nice touch. I didn't like the fact that Sir Klever didn't die when the armor went on him. Since its set up for this other guy to breath. Oh well. The period items largely looked scraped together from other movies or the scrap bin. Imagine the props department was given the money and the Alien items to deal with first. They spent 90% of the budget on that. Every comedic thing that happened just fell flat and came of childish and foolish. Ive seen some movies and this one really had me going all the way through wondering WTF went wrong. This might be worse than Mega Piranha. That is saying something. On a bright note. I did start watching Toxic Avenger and that is actually holding up well. Heaps of little nuances in that movie. Jokes not falling flat on that one.
