Lets be fair here It was actually not their fault because they got literally sued for it and then when they were forced to dropped it they got sued AGAIN but this time by the guys who created the mod, and from what it came out, the DEV team fought hard to get the mod out but yeah, lawyers took all the fun out, after that, alot of the devs left and well Just another Rockstar/Bungie situation where the entire og devs and management team that actually cares gets replaced by guys who just wants to meet the deadline whether the thing is ready or not because investors gotta get paid

To be fair, I'm thoroughly enjoying the singleplayer experience at least. I'm sometimes startled at night by an explosion that feels like my speakers shrieked in terror, and I can't invert aim, but all around enjoyable nonetheless, but I'm definitely too good of a sport. I'm just happy to see my PS2 graphics on my PS4 again.

Gaming is great! the major problem is the casuals only buy what's been fed/advertised right in front of them. They all ignored great games like Unicorn Overlord which recently came out and is a huge banger. Helldivers is a perfect example of a game not being widely known about until it's 2nd game that came out recently, it's because it was marketed right, gave a majority of the gaming community what we so desperately needed (a game that's all around fun with friends even with randoms like how it use to be) and not promising you things that wasn't going to come in the first place. Now look at Helldivers.....it practically replaced Playstation's best exclusive. What I am trying to say is.......small fry can make it big as well. Indie games are basically the new AAA anyhow.

Aspyr usually only does Mac ports of games. Most of their other Star Wars remasters flew way under the radar as well, so they weren't expecting this game to get as popular as it did. They also announced the game a week before release, so they didn't have enough time to get more servers.

I can appreciate someone feeling like the game isnt what they hoped. But if you look at the other games Aspyr has ported theyve done really well. The 35 is for the time and effort they put into upscaling and porting. If you look al9t of their previous games werent even on line so a bit of wiggle room should be given. If youll buy a "remastered" version of the exact same COD that was released 10 years prior for near the same price. I think you can pay 18 a game for the server space theyre using. And have some grace that a 20 year old game runs at all you plebs. Good day.
