Hi Elliot absolutely stunning work you doing guys. Enjoy these informative videos a lot. From how its made to how long it takes. If you could post that e type jag video with work you done in same fashion would be great! Also if possible seeing few pictures of process you go trough when you actually make stuff or short 3-8 second segments of progress as you are making panel would be immense. You really cant find people who do such high quality job like you and Peter on KZbin and shares it with public so to say. Hope you have a awesome 2023 and looking forward to many more videos to come!

Thanks for the feedback, I thought there would be some interest in the E type, I'll look into making a video in the coming weeks. I would also love to do a lot more 'how to' clips while I'm making or repairing panels, I'm just concerned that the extra time taken to do the filming shouldn't be charged to the customer of the cars we are working on so need to figure out how to get around that, other than that, definitely is something I am interested in.

Elliot, excellent video. I have a high interest in all things Jaguar. Yes I would like to see more on the E-type and the XK140 as well. Very early and special E-type your working on. 1961 Flat floor RHD fixed head coupe. only 175 made before changing to the drop floors in 1962. If it has the outside bonnet latches then only 91RHD fixed heads were made before changing to the latch handle in the cockpit.. That is from my books so not sure if the numbers are spot on but most likely very close. So any way you look at it your working on a special piece of Jaguar history. I have a 1969 E-type OTS that I will be restoring if I ever finish my Austin Healey. So I would love to see more on the E-type. . Say Hello to Peter for me. Look forward to your next video. I just have to add "Splendid work" on the small bits. The little light pod came out grand.

Weve also checked the books and dont think it was an external bonnet lock car. The quality of the photos of the car at the motor show in 61 arent good enough to identify either way...

Nice work especially making the cable securing blocks by hand without a mill. Good job using gas and planishing how it should be done the traditional way. A lot of people use Tig for this stuff which has its place but a true craftsman does it your way the proper way. Keep up the good work and the videos it’s really important to show how the work should be done. That’s a lot of work to a very high quality in the first few days of the year. I like that you are making the Jaguar panels rather than just buying in the reproduction stuff which can be inferior quality.

Ive seen some of the aftermarket panels for these jags. To make them fit usually takes longer than just making the panel from scratch. They do have their place in some circumstances but not on this car. I love tig welding. There are times when its the only option to get a visually attractive result but after comparing tig and oxy, the oxy way produces much better results on panel steel.

great work, would love to see some of the processes in action. i find that small parts often take the most time to make.

... if any one is interested" I think you can safely assume that everyone watching this is interested in what you did and more specifically, how you did it. Anything about the E-type and the XK140 is right up my alley. thanks again
