***** Every ATP Final that was played in Germany throughout the 90s was played on carpet courts, considering the fall season was comprised mostly of indoor carpet tournaments. Squeaking can be heard on carpet courts. It's not like it played quietly. There was squeaking in the Sampras-Becker final 2 years earlier.

+Specterling It was a hard court. It says it on the ATP website, I also found an interview where Corretja said it was a hard court.

it was on carpet from 1975 to 1996, then it was moved on hard court from 1997 to 2002. This was played in 1998, so it was not carpet.

Nitrate900 Point still stands, though. Back when indoor tournaments were actually fast, you had plenty of quality matches. This was a quality five-setter on indoor HCs, two years after a quality 5-setter on indoor carpet between Becker and Sampras.

Continúo, he visto muchos partidos internacionales de Tenis, pero uno de esos partidos sobresalientes, digno de volver a ver, voy a mencionar, 2 finales masters cup, la de e Alex Corretja, ganándole en 5 sets a Moya, y la de Kuerten, ganándole en 3 sets a Agassi! Finales dónde uno disfruta de ver excelente Tenis! Aplausos a esos dos enfrentamientos!

God I hate the courts without the doubles alleys. Just doesn't look right.

Charles Jones I played once on it. It feels weird. If you're not used to it you will plah a lot of outs on the sides.
