Great to see you both together! There's nothing like a good homemade burger, just like you both did; so much so I'll go and make one for myself....hihihihi!

I remember when this was first aired on television. It's a wonderful clip, but there are some happy moments missing from the beginning. Julia suggests, "let's make lunch", and described the hamburger, pronouncing it "ham-boor-zhay" in deference to Jacques and her love of French cuisine. Comparing their tasty burgers at the end was great.

The patty is too thick. You have to really open your mouth 4 inches or just nibble around it. But they are fun to watch and Jacques loves to eat.

@@baritonebynight Well no one will be accomplished now a days now will they? The world fell apart. Everyone is mentally ill. So I guess I won't be alone.

They were going for taste more than looks. Less on the eye appeal. It wasn’t a challenge to make the best possible burger. They made it good enough for the ingredients they had which probably were GMO. While I don’t think it’s the most appetizing burger, as I don’t like pickle, mayo or those buns, there are definitely worse out there. To make the best freshest burger one needs the grass fed beef, non-homegenized butter, organic condiments, gluten free & so on. Without these even the best chef’s can only go so far.

@@sandroquinones8748 I disagree on the Gluten free....that is a special diet for those allergic to wheat. That is the only reason not to consume gluten. If you don't have the full grain aka you remove the Gluten, I don't logically see how that could taste BETTER than eating unadulterated wheat. I'm with you on the rest of your statement however :)
