I used to plane spot here almost everyday from 1986 until 1989 when I worked for QANTAS in San Bruno. I spent many hours in that parking lot just south of this camera angle where the public could watch. Sadly, it would seem that parking area has since been closed. I think due to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Thank you for posting and bringing back fond memories from my early 20's.

The Mad Dog Alaska Livery was always my favorite and logged plenty of flights on that plane The Continental DC and the Delphos 757 incredibly beautiful flames And such a crazy flimsy little fence and pretty close up camera action Oh the past is so sweet

Yes sir....I used to work at Lindbergh field in 1991. We'd see quite a lot of the "Cactus" birds down there. Fond memories here as well.

I cannot Stand United’s new logo. The tulip is what gave them their brand. Not Continental airlines. They completely sold out. AA and UA just are not the same.

Delta's old livery design (known as the "widget" livery) from 1960 to mid-1990's was the BEST!! United's "tulip" livery (as it was known within the industry) was just plain ugly. United should never have changed from it's classic 1960's livery. American, also, should have stayed with its beautiful "Astrojet" livery. It's red/white/blue stripes was too plain. Best liveries?: Delta's "widget", American's "Astrojet", Eastern's "Hockey Stick" on white fuselage, National's "SunKing", TWA's "Twin Globes", and of course....Pan American's "Globe". I sure do miss'em all.
