I have that same winch on my D series Travelall. It came from a D series, but not mine. The winch was all I was able to get, I found a Warn winch mount in a wrecking yard and modified it. Found a PTO for the transfer case, PTO shift cable, made a driveshaft, and put it all together. I rebuilt the winch and PTO first. I’ve used it several times now, works good.

Oh, I now have a complete system for a C series. Bumper, winch, driveshaft, PTO, everything. We’ll find a use for it.

So my friend had a Datsun pickup with the top cut off that we ran around his property when we were teenagers, well we were coming out of the woods and he decided to jump the dirt hill. As I was yelling slow down he hit the jump we launched, came down on the trunk of his brothers caprice classic, bounced off the trunk lid, landed on the two left wheels and slammed down on all 4. We never did that again. 😂🤪😲

Casey, I recently discovered your channel and have been binge watching when I have time, It is so cool to see so much familiar scenery in your videos. I have spent so many years of my life up and around the Santiam Pass doing A lot of what you do. it started out when I was younger (16ish) growing up in Mill City just going up to the hoodoo area to play in the snow in our trucks and 20 years later I find myself still doing it. I don't have equipment like you do but often I will jump in my truck and head up the pass and spend an eve helping stuck drivers, pulling them out, helping chain up etc.. I have never charged a dime, My payment is just enjoying helping the people and spending time up there I absolutely love it in the winter time. Thank you for the awesome content! sometimes I feel like I am watching myself when I watch your videos because we have so much in common you are just much better equipped! 😎 I would love to do what you do for a living. Keep up the great work!

That cinematic "sjoo" sound is the sound of the first bug flying into your face and burying itself solidly between your teeth while you drive just a little faster with your big grin on your face with the windschield down! ;-) That scenery is amazing with a light dusting of white! It certainly helps that you know how to drive and operate a backhoe! :-) Interesting how Ben knows how to somehow always make you do all the dirty work! And yes, I agree: Ben certainly has plenty of material to make interesting videos about!

About 5 years ago I was driving north along the Lake Michigan Shore line near Ludinton MI and had a late 1970's International Scout in front of me In mint condition. We followed the same route for several mile before they turned off. I felt like flagging them down and talking to the about their Scout. It's a shame that International discontinued the Scout line around 1980.

When I was a kid in the early 60s we lived on a mountain top in WV. My uncle had a international pickup just like the ones you have here. Dad had an International Scout but we had the SUV style covered bed (before they called them suv's). There were four of us kids within 5 year span and my parents would put all four of us in the back. Mom did make cushions but the seam between the top and bed would hit you right in the back and the cushion did not help that. We did a lot of four wheeling as a family on the weekends on mining roads and creek beds.
