Classic WoW Naxxramas BIS Gear. New series of videos where we take a look at each class in Phase 6. Naxxramas was released and cleared already by some guilds, but for most of us it turns out to be a bit harder, the items in naxx are really great but the competition is real. We take a look for every class to see what's the best strategy to gear up moving forward towards the end of classic and to The Burning Crusade.

As a Hunter, a few things: Leather legs that are the other option are from the Four Horsemen, there is also the WSG legging. As I Hunter I hate the idea of taking DFT because Hunters SHOULD be trinket swapping, and therefore the Hit is completely useless, in that case most of the time Seal of the Dawn is better with Royal Seal only 6AP behind DFT. Badge of the Swarmguard (multi-targets) and Renataki's Charm of the Beast (Slayers/Jom/Earthstrike --> Aim Shot --> (before next Aim shot) --> Rapid Fire --> end of Rapid Fire double up Aimshot with Charm --> FD --> Swap to Blackhands/Seal) should be swapped during combat (depending on the situation). And rank 12 gloves is probably 1-2% DPS, definitely not 5%, only affects Multi-shot, but still BIS. Also I'd get revive pet, the amount of times your pet will die, it is well worth it.

@@Frostadamus Cheers. To add, with 2set tier 3 you should be able to use Rapid Fire straight away with first AP trinket (Slayers/Jom/Earthstrike) and still be able to use Charm while RF is active (just have to be quick on the trigger).

We actually had an Iblis go to a hunter today. All the r14 warriors/rogues just didn't seem to care. Guess they have eyes on KT stuff :D And we have had 2 kingsfalls. Just 1 more then free for hunters.

@@Madnessofdwing Yeah, but it isn't impossible thats my point. Seen a lot of AQR hunters, badge, kots. So not bad showing what is BiS imo. If we do naxx 9 months or w/e, every1 will have everything. (almost) But optional BiS/more realistic BiS, should always be shown too.

Bro I see Hunters walking around my server with Thunderfury, you really think there's gonna be a huge issue getting these? Just be patient, work up to your loot council, or be prepared to spend your gold if you're in a gdkp, but you really don't need luck. We haven't even gotten one yet but who is really contesting Kingsfall? Rogues? Who's pve spec and going dagger rogue? Certainly nobody in my guild. Warriors? Yeah there's the occasional Aged Core Leather Gloves wearing warrior using Death's Sting, but the chances they will also have QSR or Pugio so Kingsfall may not even be an upgrade for them. As for Iblis, you might have a little more competition, but (at least for Horde side) Warriors mostly want axes (Orc racial) or if they aren't an orc and want to go for swords, they will likely need The Hungering Cold for swords skill, and Gressil is always going to be BiS. Maybe they have edgies so they don't need The Hungering Cold, so they may go for Iblis, but more realistically they want AQR, Chromatically Tempered Sword, Maladath, or the R14 swords. Rogues are in the same boat where a swords rogue will be going for Gressil as their main hand, and their off hand could have Iblis, but could be replaced by a number of things including R14 sword, Hungering Cold, Maladath, or Vis'Kag

Does Mark of the Champion work for Hunter? On era, I have guildies testing it saying it doesn't work (AP isn't added to ranged AP) but all top logs use it. Need help!

Ally bis: -Full t3 except gloves are R12 -cloak of the fallen god -prestors -kingsfall / harbringer of doom -nerubIan slavemaker w/ dmg scope -cryptstalker ring / band of reanimation -trinket swapping 4 trinkets (jom gabbar and renatakis/ slayers crest and mark of the champion)

BiS imo would be this, but add Eye of Nerub instead of the 1handers and go Survival and melee weave for absolute max dps output.

i would def drop that +7 dmg and trade it with biznicks. in that way you can better play around with ur choices imo. furthermore you have to switch trinkets for some bosses (i.e. renetakis for quick fights etc.)

Cc hold quest cloak gives 1% hit and only 6 AP less. I run 8% hit and 9% hit for tranq bosses with that cc unseen path cloak and I'm one of the top 3 on server for naxx so far. Underated cloak imo and I also believe we only need 9% hit on tranq bosses. I rarely miss a shot with 8% and can pump more dps instead.

I do the same I raid with 8% hit and got 98,2 average, and out dps 9%hit hunters in my guild with no problem. Eye of nerub melee weave is the best for sure

Is the miniscule damage to your pet really worth giving up Lightning Reflexes? Id rather have another 5% crit and 90 atk pwr. Even more on alliance. With world buffs and kings You're giving up around 200 atk pwr and 7% crit for a little bit of pet damage. 10% bonus HP helps keep them world buffs too ;).

It isn't Beast Mastery that is the issue with Lightning Reflexes, it is you lose True Shot aura. Basically this is 400-500AP to your other melee which far outweighs your own minor buff from extra agility. When Classic is depending on melee damage so much, you basically have to stay Marksmen.

Marksman is pretty much a demand for naxxramas, you cannot reach ligtning reflexes if you get TSA. Feels bad.

Being literal Hunter base you need to be a survival Hunter. You take lightning reflexes which gives you an extra 15% agility

Kiss is obviously a great trinket but hunters don't exactly scale well with haste cause it doesn't change how often they can aimed shot/multi shot. Not to mention just about every single guild is going to give kiss to any melee/tank waaaay before they give it to a hunter.

In the top guilds of the world? Maybe not. But anything a part from that it is worth having 2-3, whether pulling, tranq or other aspects. A skilled Hunter can get top DPS on some fights in most progression guilds.
