Winter's chill is good in pvp for adding extra debuffs that a healer wastes time and mana cleansing, but that's about it.

Improved scorch stacks 5 times = 15% increased fire damage taken by the target. Can also mention that Pyroblast have terrible dps, since its a 6 sec cast. And it adds a dot to your target, which you dont want for obvious reasons.

daniel482363 Becouse in vanilla there are only 8 debuff slots on raid bosses. Later, when ZG (patch 1.7) is released it will be increased to 16 slots. Due to debuff priority the Pyroblast dot may push off a better and more beneficial debuff.

daniel482363 pyro just doesn’t get used in a raid back then. There are more powerful dots then it not to mention it’s crap dps. Takes to long to cast and costs to much mana. Just not worth taking. Pyro blast was great for pvp if you had presence of mind. But that was about it.

I played classic wow. As a mage. Most mages roll frost. I was on of the few that went for hardcore pvp. I used arcane and fire. Looking for insta cast as the key to the build. Start with sheep. 6 second fireball. Run at them Insta cast fire Ring of fire Frost trap ring (when you pass them) Then start bouncing around them back and forth while hitting arcane aoe blast. To finish the job. The bouncing is to line of sight them

Yeah, uh. Arcane PvP was broken in pvp, instant crit pyroblast was no joke. And they didnt go frost they went arcane/fire.
