Do you think you could test an Orc Warlock with a Demo/Destro build for the improved Firebolt & improved Lash of Pain? I'm very curious about the potential dps of the minions factored in with the command racial. Torn between playing Undead or Orc Warlock for classic. Undead I believe would offer a more sustain oriented affliction playstyle, draining with health regen items + cannibalize on cooldown. Whereas Orcs would perform much better as durable, burst damage Warlocks. Thank you in advance.

hello metagoblin when i did leveled on some private server i even used succebus at pet around 20-35 she does more damage then imp and its hold treath long enouge to kill mobs fast, also its handy for pvp but overal the voidwalker is better, sorry for bad english btw

Jonathan Rahm as I'm a filthy casual warlock sounds easier for me. But undead spriests sounds so cool. Melting people in pvp 👍🏻

@@aj6018 If i go for priest It will be Troll :p the shadow orbs (dont remeber name) seems better than the dot undead priest gets (because of the heavy mana, and alot of classes can dispell it). Are you gonna play EU or America :) ?

enchanting will help you get wands, absolutely get first aid ASAP too.

@@SomeContent I was thinking to pick up mining / Engi for the utility it provides but on the other hand its more like a gold sink... with herb / alch I make nice gold and also get utility like limited invul, invis and stuff like that. Enchanting / tailor is also a very good choice... i dont know how to go about it for my main x_X

@@Clawdor i'm in the same boat and i think i will go skinning/mining while leveling, skinning to vendor the mats and make so free gold and mining to amass the most possible mats for engineering so i don't have to buy all of them i will try farming most of engineering mats myself, and at 60 i would switch skinning for tailoring to get my good warlock items like robe of the void and bloodvine set later and would switch mining for engineering once i have enough mats, i think we should be fine to make gold as a warlock by farming different spots

Drain tanking is king for leveling. Your guide isn't bad by any means but you invest a lot of talent points into your VW. With drain tanking, albeit less safety than using VW, you kill things at a much, much faster rate and just get overall better farm.

Warlock seems to have some of the most variety compared to many other classes in terms of how people play or what you can do. Personally, I've always favored drain tanking with succubus. 9 times out of 10, the people who are going to try and gank you are rogues, especially when playing as a warlock. Rogues can play around the succubus, but I've always preferred the seduce over the void sac. If you can just interrupt their combo even for half a second, it helps a ton to turn the fight around.

Voidwalker losing aggro can be a good thing if you can kill it before it gets to you. Remember that when a mob is moving it's not doing damage to anything. Curse of exhaustion comes to mind...

There's a lot of inaccuracy's in this video. I do agree your talent build is personal preference but I would not recommend anyone skip over suppression early on. For the Void walker, you will start pulling aggro off the void walker at lvl 10, as it does the lowest amount of damage out of any warlock pet (tested in beta). It does not do nearly as much damage as it does in the private server and cannot hold aggro off you even with minimal damage applied to a target. It is useful for certain fights such as when you are fighting multiple enemies. I would not recommend anyone to level with JUST the void walker. The part about the imp, the imp "triangle" did not really work in beta something to keep in mind. The part regarding stat priority for leveling, you want to prioritize spell power over spirit. Also for the final part, most warlocks would recommend buying epic riding as soon as you hit 60 because your Summon Felstead ability can be spell locked by mages in PVP and phase 2 will not be out for a while for warlocks to get their epic mounts.

5 points in imp corruption is not needed... it only takes 2 point to get corruption off the gcd...wait and put 5 points in it when you are ready to pvp. There's is no reason to have an instant cast corruption while leveling you aren't kiting mobs like you would be players...Better to use those 3 points in something more useful.

that is truly a shit-tier leveling build. the only way this would work is on a pve server or if you're way ahead of the leveling curve. you need master summoner at 34-35 so you can actually fight people in STV. you essentially get two free sacrifice shields, and even more if you can get fears off -- it can virtually make you unkillable. no nightfall, no fel stamina -- have you ever been camped? wtf is this? dying in pvp situations can drastically slow your leveling time. having both improved lifetap and improved drain soul is a bit redundant imo. and if you're in the middle of the leveling curve, then you probably want to respec to demo at level 45 to get instant corruption because no sane person wants to fight a soul link warlock.

I notice all of these Warlock guides try to trick people into wasting points on improved voidwalker. If you're leveling a Warlock in Classic, there is no justification for EVER using your voidwalker... Like ever. Not in PvE. And especially not in PvP. That demon is worthless in all circumstances. Use your imp until you get succubus. Then use her. Dot up mobs, then improved drain life with reduced pushback until the mob is dead. Life tap your mana up. Dot and drain the next mob to get your life back. Life tap. Repeat.

Incorrect. Seduce will save your life far more often in PvP, AND you’ll get to keep your pet (which does better dps than vw). Trust me. I leveled a Warlock during vanilla on a cutthroat PvP server. Many tried to gank me. None succeeded. Never. Use. Voidwalker.

Always see ppl having "taunt" on autocast. I clearly remember the VW being terrible unless you used it on manual cast back in vanilla. I ended up just mainly using Imp because I couldn't be arsed clicking "taunt" (didn't know you could keybind it). So I'm looking forward to see if everyone is saying it sucks just bacause they are lazy :p

Nathan T I hear what you’re saying, but seduce is useless if your target has dots on them. You cannot argue that a huge shield is useful against a melee class in your face or any situation when death is imminent and you need a few more seconds for your cooldowns to refresh. personally I take master summoner and fel domination so I can switch between pets in an emergency or to sac for the shield and then switch to succubus for the cc. Also for aoeing mobs with hellfire, sending the vw in to aoe taunt and then sacrificing it once you pull aggro off of it. Sorry bro but the vw has lots of uses and that's sad u can't see that

Theta Flux Shield just prolongs fights when you should be ending them. Any situation where a shield saves your life would have been avoided if you were doing more dps with better dots and a succubus. Vw is wasting your time with his gimmicks.
