Classic WoW: Warrior Leveling Guide - Talents, Rotation & Weapon Progression

Quick update as a level 35 warrior in classic. ARMS is so strong for ~versatile~ leveling, definitely the best for the "classic experience" where you actually play the game. SWEEPING STRIKES(lvl30talent) feels gooooood as fuck when you pull 2 mobs at once and your cleave hits 4 times and the mobs get global'd. The extra utility from STANCE MASTERY should make you a viable tank for the early dungeons if need be and it's very useful for survival/wpvp. If you want to be a mob farming mongoloid go fury but if you want to live up to your potential as a warrior I would go arms for sure.

Fury is better for everything early level... Switch to arms at 60. Plus fury helps a lot more with PvP short comings.

and lastly the key is to know your leveling route. Horde for example, go to barrens at lvl 10, grab the fungal spores for apothecary zamah, death warp to camp T and bloodhoof, level in mulgore for all the lvl 8 quests before the timer runs out, boom you get a 10 dps staff, finish all of mulgore then razor hill, and to XR at 13-14, buy a spiked mace and mobs really just start droppin. Use that to tank RFC and through WC

Also go full protection and profit in danges as tank.

In the section where you explain the lvl 40+ arms AoE rotation you say that you should use Sweeping strikes after Berserker rage while in berserker stance. Sweeping strikes requires you to be in Battle stance right? Or am I missing something?

Ive been using a variation of this for years but recently decided that to try 5 points in parry for pvp… so much better even for leveling because of the attack haste.

Aoe rotation is wrong you have to be in battle stance to cast SS then change to BS

I would stack stamina instead of spirit if you are on the pvp cluster it helps in both pve and ALOT in pvp so it’s more valuable then spirit

I'd say priest is better. But healer is your best bet. Pally has better options to level with duo though so hope your friend likes you

Good enough guide. I'd say never pick up improved charge as its almost two talents points down the drain. In fights you'll only ever have 1 charge and you already use tactical mastery and beyond to sustain better rage before new fights. Also I'd pick unbridled Wrath over any of the shout bonuses in the early tree Fury. Just seems like a silly idea to ignore rage-gain in favor of negligible shout boosts. Imp Battle Shout is good though, solid flat bonus. YOu don't need to spend the full 5 points there to get value.

Unbridled wrath, if you're using a 2hander is real bad because you've already got a slow attack speed and a less than guaranteed chance of getting only a single rage point, I can see how it would be good fow DW but even then I see many fury warriors prioritizing many other talents over it. in an average fight you'd probably get more rage from improved charge than you would from unbridled wrath. also you'll likely save more rage in having to shout less often than you will gain from unbridled wrath.

As horde, level as arms, use any 2h until wailing caverns get the staff, use that till 30 use whirlwind axe till 40. then go from there. DONT level as fury. thats just hurting yourself. arms is much quicker and better to lvl with.

@@Dreathan fury needs stats and gear hence why it's 60 spec. Arms has direct damage increase talents not tied to stats like crit unless you count deep wounds which is really doable with axe mastery... I tested it i usually kill mobs two seconds faster as arms then fury on a level 45 with a 200 mob sample.
