As i'm sure most hunters know, if you are in a guild that prioritizes faster clears and progression, you wont get many of the shared items until far later. QSR, Band of Accuria, DFT, PTC, etc.

For PVE DON’T use Ashkandi. BIS is Fang of Faceless and Warblade of Hakkari/silithid claw up till Naxx

Maracha in private servers the miss chance is around 14-16 due to over tuning. That chance can be from 9 to 17 depending on which p.server someone would play. There is contradiction on which is the hit cap for tranq. shots, if it’s being affected by boss’s NR and if the tranquil shot acts more as a spell rather as a shot. Back in vanilla my guild never had a problem with this miss chances since we were running raids with 3-4 hunters which they rotated if someone missed the shot. - That’s the extend of my knowledge to the hunter class for now, if there are other arguments I would love to listen to them.

@@chedruid I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that in Classic WoW the maximum hit percentage is 9% (for PvE). For a hunter this means you just need 6% hit on your items in case you're specced into Surefooted in the Survival tree which provides you the last 3% you need to achieve the hit cap. I haven't had any issues so far in Molten Core or Onyxia with said hit percentage (9%). As for PvP, the hit cap is 5%.

the thing you are not thinking about Drake fang talisman is that. First it allows you to use other rings in your tier 2 setup. Tier 2 only gives 2% hit. then + 2% hit from zg enchants. that's 4% hit. then you need an additional 5% hit. 1% from prestors neck. 2% from DFT. now what is left is 2% hit. Band of accuira+Quickstrike ring. this will be Best in slot BWL dps setup. but then again hunters pepega, compared to warrior//rogue.

Would like to note, getting this cross bow is not easy, I have ran bwl every week for two months. I’ve seen it once and lost the bid, so I have been farming gold all day and night for weeks to get about 15k gold so that when I see it drop again I can win the bid, only other option is to SR run it and roll against 7 other hunters because every group that does bwl loads it up with hunters

Drake fang tailsman is good for melee weaving hunters, because the dm book trinket only gives ranged attack power, so dft will increase melee attacks.

Except that it isnt, its 16 attack power, 1 hit 1 crit. An elven ring is 30 ranged att power (15 agi) and 1 hit. Not much a difference. For pvp don julios band is ok but for pve band of accuria + quickstrike ring is what you want. The 2% hit from band of accuria is huge for hunters +32 ranged att power (16 agi). But that depends on your guild, since most guilds have melee prio on quickstrike. So you see the 16att power from don julios isnt much, and you can get crit from quickstrike and more att power.

Most of classic is common sense - there isn't really anything to put into preperation, most of it is executing the bossfight over serveral IDs. There is nothing that actually requires people to be prepared, everything is faceroll and dies within tops 5 pulls anyway. :-/

0/31/20 is a really strong group pvp spec while maintaining high dps (get imp. Concussive shot, scatter shot, entrapment, clever traps, detterence). I haven't been raiding much on my hunter as I like BM based specs too much for pvp (31/20/0 so good at defending farm in AB).

usually Frostadamus videos tend to be very informative and entertaining, but this was a waste of time to watch, we already know tier 2 comes mostly from BWL and even on the trinkets you skipped out on alternatives, not much of value was learning from watching this unfortunately, i hope you do better in the next episode or even redo this one to actually contain what to expect/what to do/ alternative routes for gear - nobody s going into BWL in full tier 2, and i bet not many are going in in full tier1 either you can do better fost

Sadly i have to agree here u missed some content regards mechanics f.e. u could have described how hunter are responsible for pulling in the broodlord room or have to trap in p1 switch weapons in p2 at nef. And yeah u state that chromagus is tranq able but u didnt mention that tank normally dies when he isnt tranqd

In BWL there won't be any hunter enchants for a 2h, while 15 agi for 1h will be out, therefore, 1hs are to be prefered.

Good luck with trying to obtain Ashkandi as a hunter in the first half of year after opening BWL. This is very late gear build as i see it. Nice, but it seems to be a bit of Utopia for most hunters.

your take on giantstalker 8set is just wrong, already with MC gear 8set is not worth it for singletarget, instead go grab t2 legs and crown of destruction. Shrouded mists is also worse than black baron.

Frost you have way to much hit on you're hunter here in this video. A hunter needs 9 total hit (i can be reduced to 6.00 with 5 bow skill if you are a troll with a bow) You get 3 hit from the surfooted talents in survival, 1 hit from you're neck (ony or presto) 3 hit from the scope on you're range weapon, 2 hit from the Dragonstalker set (shoulders and pants) that's already 9. then you go on to Band of Accuria which gives 2, Master Dragonslayer Ring which Gives another 1, and then you end with the Drama Fang Talisman for a total of 14 hit where you get 0 benefit from any of the last 5. it is literally a dps decrease to Equipt Drama Fangs Talisman over the Blackhand's Breadth (2% crit trinket) to gain 56 attack power and 1% dodge (because you cannot use the hit...)

"2-4 hunters per raid, but you can take more..." classic is nerfed down and was released 15 years ago. you can go with 40 druids or 30 hunters or 30 mages or 30 rogues if you want. it doesnt matter what classes u bring at this point. you will oneshot every single boss once everyone knows what to do or even if they dont.

@@Elennpto that just means you guys are not prepared enough. we had huge server problems since everyone was logging in on the days we raided, had to kill vaelastras with 34 people and still managed it while half the raid was drunk. the raid on the live servers is about 50% nerfed compared to vanilla or private servers.

Full Hunter T2 isn't BiS in all cases, you always want one in full T1. Only inexperienced/inefficient/bad players will have Hunters kite the adds at Razorgore - you usually just nuke them. Classic is garbage like that.

Considering that you lose a lot of hit when you go from T1 to T2, you best believe that the Drake Fang Talisman and Band of Accuria are BiS. Not everyone is a survival hunter, and hunters need hit just as much as dual wield classes up to 9%. Maybe more because they musn't miss their tranq shots.

@@Tomnourry Doesn't seem like a good idea because then you lose the T2 8-set bonus. Of course tanks have priority on it but a rogue probably shouldn't have higher prio than a hunter. Dodge is also more useful for hunters than for rogues in PvP.

9 hit (actually it's 8.60) is just for the main hand mate, you need 27% hit to be hit capped with you're offhand, also you can get + 3 Range Hit enchanted on you're range weapon, so no you do not in any way need as much hit as a melee class does. (and before you start whining about hit + 3 hit enchant being expensive you better believe every single melee would have that enchant if it was just normal hit, that's like whining about not wanting to do 2 x crusader or + 30 spell power enchant on weapons)... with the gear Frost showed us in the video He is running around with 14% hit... so no, hunters do not have a hard time getting hit, and even without the Surfooted talent he would still have 11% hit...
