Nayeon seems to be someone who’s good at making decisions. She consistently picks amazing outfits, consistently picks good concepts, keeps picking good music video directors, and good songs, as well as good people to collaborate with. Every time I see her in something, I think “she is the real deal.”

lmao do you think Nayeon made a single decision in this video or concept? come on, please. She is signed to a major label, they would've had the song done before it was even hers. Everyone working on the video is there because a team of people at her label picked them, she would not have even dressed herself, that's all done by stylists. She has no control over who she would collaborate with, thats her labels choice. She aint making a single decision here. If you wanna see those that are, look at the blackpink girls since they are only signed as a group now, all their solo stuff is done under their own production companies, meaning they do have full control over the creative process and are actually making a number of decisions.

@@Jockuptown Jihyo's album 'Zone' contains almost every songs which was written and composed by her also she decided certain melodies when you see her recording behind the scenes. Also I suggest you to watch some behind the scenes eps of twice mvs. There members tell how they pick their own outfits and hairstyle for the mv. The points you made might be true during their beginning era but now they have authority over their style for the mv. Dahyun has never been coloured her hair for many years because she doesn't want to. The members chose strategy to be their title track which tells members can decide what should be the title track. So Nayeon has influence on deciding what type of genre she wants in her album, what kind of concepts she going to do and style she wants.

@@JockuptownI disagree. When you look at the decisions made for TWICE’s work, as well as for Jihyo, Tzuyu, and Misamo, there’s some good content, but not everything lands perfectly. With Nayeon, however, the quality always feels higher in all categories. It’s been consistently strong, from her solo debut to her latest comeback. If the label can achieve that level of quality for Nayeon, I can’t understand why they don’t do the same for recent Twice content. Nayeon has to be a factor in that success.

The editing in this is crazy, really creative. I REALLY liked 4:50, 5:17, 5:31 (the transition from Kevin to everyone going 'Crazy In Love'), 9:09, 15:37, 16:20. Super helpful to have the music parts playing every time the reactors bring up a certain part, and the little editing of the instruments. The timestamps are so helpful too! This is one of the best K-pop songs of 2024, from concept to execution. I like TWICE but don't consider myself a hardcore fan, yet congrats to JYP (and to the girls) for their recent work. TWICE has been producing amazing pop songs. Production-wise, Nayeon manages to embody a concept that's really different from what TWICE and her solo work have been. I really appreciate how it's a perfect nod to 2000-2010 pop music without being just a copy-paste or empty concept makeover. It's as if she embodied pop stars like Britney, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga in herself. As a longtime pop music fan, and then K-pop fan, I was shook, because I thought JYP would play it safe and make something like POP! to chart again. The whole EP is a masterpiece of fresh, good pop music, especially "Magic" featuring Julie.
