Hello Josh💕! I am very glad that you watched this performance. You know, when I was just starting to get acquainted with the work of Dimash, I watched only a piece of this performance☺️. And since then I could not dare to watch it to the end. And finally I looked with you. And I liked it too! It's amazing how free he feels on stage, how he communicates with the audience, with musicians, how he turns everyone on with his energy😍! I saw in the comments that one person wrote that after watching this show, he stopped listening to Dimash. What nonsense😬! Dimash is an actor! He can be romantic, touching, passionate, sad, but also so cheerful and perky! After all, he is quite young there! He is only 22 years old! Undoubtedly, Dimash was born for the stage! Thanks a lot for your reaction! Good luck to you and your family💋! I hope to see you soon with the performance of the song "Hello", performed by Dimash on "The Singer" in 2018.

Please when reacting to "Give me love" include his first solo concert version in Bastau. You can then see Dimash's ability to hold 48,000 people in the palm of his hand. His journey over just 3 years has been truly meteoric. He's gone from being unknown outside Kazakhstan, to being able to sell-out stadium size concerts in any country in the world. As in his Barclays Center concert in New York proved, people will fly in from all over the globe to see him. Many people on utube have said they hope he will tour South America, Africa, India etc. so they get a chance to see him. 😊🏴👍

Great reaction to Dimash singing Uptown Funk. I think this song was asigned to Dimash to get him out of his comfort zone. It is stil a great performance, but it really is not his favourite style of music. I think the energy is phenomenal. Greetings from Amsterdam.

Hi Josh, Brilliant reaction, I'm so glad you did this, most commenters say to give it a miss but the theme was "crazy fun night" and Dimash certainly did that, involving the audience, the band and his fellow competitors. We know this was'nt a vocal showcase for him but I think he embraced the theme in a great way judging by everyones reactions. 👌👌👌👌😃😃😃😃

I hear a lot of reactors say that they are told to skip this performance because it is not one of his "best" performances.. and I mean no disrespect when I say this, but I am a Dear, to me all his music is the best. He cod sing the phone book and I would love it... Yes it wasn't a high note or emotional performance, but I still loved every minute of it.. plus look how much fun he had doing it.. every one of your reactions are perfect . Thank you you so much 💕

I fully agree with you! It's just that people are used to Dimash doing runs and riffs, melismas and whistle tones and and and... that they think he must do this at all times. Dimash does what he feels like and he does it well! I also love Uptown Funk, it was 6h place amongst so many other highly-talented Chinese singers, so what is not good about that?! cheers from Vienna!

Ignore the naysayers, they just want things their way. They can go to Burger King for that. Keep on doing it in your own way, reactors are not meant to be, nor should they be cookie cut. Dimash had fun with this song, although he was not happy with it overall. He didn't gain the audience vote, and came in 6th place out of eight that night. I enjoy watching him do this song because it is so far out of the norm for him. Dimash does a lot to keep himself in physical shape as well as vocal shape, though after his concerts he is still very tired and "out of breath." I would be tired and out of breath after five minutes, and his concerts are usually almost three hours. The competitors were all very supportive of each other. Several of them became good friends of Dimash from this show. Terry Linn (Papa Lin or Lin Baba), Jam Hsiao (from Lion band), Tia have all done other shows together after Singer. Keep on doing what you are doing, exactly how you are doing it! Stay safe and healthy! Blessings to you!

Good morning from Germany, I love this performance like everyone else. Dimash shows, that his joy and fun are just as contagious as his sad songs touch people. Why should someone who makes people dance and smile leave the competition? That does not make sense.
@julieh.7004 жыл бұрын
It's fine! I knew what was going on as soon as it happened. One of the things that reactors do is that they download the video before watching it so that you aren't reliant on overloading your computer.... I meah, that is a possible solution however you will lose the subtitles when you down load it... That's the drawback. But I enjoyed your video anyway! Thank you. Now you have a hint to how energetic he can be at his concerts. His concerts are phenomenal!

i read one of the Dears who commented that this performance almost got him voted off of the show. i know there are a lot of Dears who don't care for this video, but i love it because it shows that Dimash has another side to him that we don't often get to see because his songs are usually so serious. loved your reaction, and please don't change a thing about yourself unless it's something YOU feel you want to do. Be who God created you to be and those who have a problem with it will learn to live with it, or not. ;) be safe, healthy, and happy everyone. God bless you all. love and hugs from a Dear in WA state.
@julieh.7004 жыл бұрын
Actually it didn't almost get him voted off the show. The "Singer" complies percentage of audience votes for 2 episodes. He wasn't even last in this episode and the next performance was Adagio in which he placed 1st. So there was no way he was getting voted off. Dimash knew what he was doing when he chose this song. He planned out the order of his songs to best showcase all his talents but to stay in the competition as long as possible. He originally didn't think he had a chance at winning so he just wanted to show as much as he could. That's why he was so happy at the last two episodes . To him, he had already won. The trophy and the win would have been nice but he never expected it. But he gained more than he ever hoped in the exposure and the offers that were continually coming in and especially he was happy he'd gained a following among the Dears.
@TheBxxKiddo4 жыл бұрын
@@julieh.700 I think so too: Dimash was second place, but he already won much more than the winner, because the exposure the show gave him made tons of american people (as in the entire continent, not only the USA) to get to know and admire him (I'm one of them). And as for Sandy Lam, well, I knew her when I decided that I wanted to watch the complete episodes of The Singer; must admit that I liked other competitors more than her.
@julieh.7004 жыл бұрын
@Just want the Best voice No.someone must have made that up. Dimash has sung Opera2 and Uptown Funk before he got to the singer. And he sung Uptown Funk twice after at least. In fact he sung "Show Must Go On" several times in Karaoke and I think 2 other performances. Same with Adagio and All by Myself. The only songs he hadn't sung before the Singer were "Autumn Strong" and "Daybreak" and possibly Confessa....tho that last one is unclear. All of the other singers in the competition were singing songs they had sung before. Really they were so busy with rehearsals and TV events and award shows and photo shoots and interviews that they didn't have time to prepare brand new songs. Dimash did commercials, flew back home a couple of times, Did a whole thing about being a good will ambassador between China and Kazakhstan and even worked on the Movie sound track for Battle of Memories and also songs for his Album. And we have video of all this stuff. I'm just trying to emphasize he was super busy. The rules stated that each singer could sing one of their original songs ONE TIME within the competition. All other performances had to be covers. Sandy Lam did her original song first episode. Dimash did his original song last Махаббат бер маған. Technically the show had already ended when he sang that so maybe they counted Daididau as his original song. I'm not entirely sure. But I have heard in a few comments about him being forced to sing "uptown funk" but if you know Dimash, you know he's really stubborn. If he doesn't like a song he won't sing it. No matter what.
@MrsMo484 жыл бұрын
@@julieh.700 ok, thanks for clearing that up. Like i said, I'd read the comment on another reaction and since I've only been a Dear for a couple of months I'm still playing catch - up. One of the reasons i rarely comment after a reaction is because almost everything I've learned about Dimash comes from reading other people's comments and if they're wrong... thanks again. Be safe out there everyone. Take care and God bless.

Thank you!❤ I admit to this not being one of my favourites, but I love this performance from Dimash for his energy and his smile (which is just glorious😍) - and hey, if our Di is happy, we Dears are even happier! How he managed to jump around the stage like a delinquent jumping bean (lol), and still had the breath to sing, made me feel so very, very, VERY old - in fact, I think the last time *I* had that much energy, I was still running around in the school yard!😂 But about your tech issues... yes, the freezing can be somewhat frustrating, but no matter - most of us Dears have seen the performances already, and we're here for YOUR thoughts! Sadly, all the things I'd normally suggest that might help, could have a knock-on effect with the subtitles - and I don't think anyone wants that... Unfortunately, I'm stuck with just a tablet right now (a long story involving a disability-tech charity closing/letting me down, and then COVID-19 negating my Council grant), so believe me, your computer issues are barely noticeable in comparison, lol!😉 - but honestly, you're doing great with the set up you have, and your hard work is very much appreciated! P!ease, please try to ignore the naysayers my friend (though that's easier said than done, I'm sure)... just remember, that this is *your* space, *your* video, and *your* channel - and if they don't like your reacting style... well, there's not exactly a shortage of other reactors, particularly to Dimash, that they could be watching instead, is there?! And all the personal stuff is just pathetic...!😦 Anyways, til next time, take care sweetie - with much love and best wishes from over here in the UK :) ❤🤗😘😊🇬🇧

In 2018, I am Singer invited Dimash, as a special guest and he sang Hello by Lionel Ritchie . It shows another skill of Dimash. It is very worth doing that as it connects with his journey on that show.

I think you are a calm and nice persone, who can be bother for that? My English is not good, but I'm sure it can be clear... Thanks to share you reactions with the Dimash' fans 👏👏👏

I love your reactions. The trolls love to come on these sites to just give a thumbs down and make ridiculous comments. You are a well respected reactor and the dears appreciate all your hard work. Can’t wait to see future posts. Getting excited. He just gets better!!! Stay safe. 🎼

I wonder why anyone would say you eat too much because you do not look overweight at all. I like the way you do your show and I think you are very interesting. You are wonderful just the way you are. Be you! I love Angelina Jordans "Feeling Good' but Terry Lin did a great job on it as well and Terry Lin did "The Writings On The Wall". Also Dimash and Terry Lin singing Unforgettable Day at Jackie Chan's Film Festival - July 21st 2019. It is a great Duet. Yea another Angelina Thank you!

Hello Josh, Please ignore the negative criticism. I subscribed to your channel because I appreciate your genuineness, not mentioning how knowledgeable you are. Please keep doing you: lots of people subscribed to your channel for a reason! I’ve been a Dear for about 2 years, and it warms my heart to see that you sincerely appreciate and admire Dimash’s insane talent. Greetings from Texas! 👋😁

Just being who you are is why I subscribed your channel, people need to really consider that you reactors have a life as we all have. In the end Dimash was not happy with his performance of this song. He was 6th , that is why Dimash weared the blue suit (colour of his country flag) in the next episode to sing Adagio because he was in risk of not making forward in the competition. Love your reactions, 💞💞 from Portugal

This is not one of my most favorite performances of Dimash but in interviews and stories about Dimash there are mentions or even videos showing him doing Karaoke with his friends and having a blast. This kind of makes me think of that. He looks like he is having fun but the audience wanted the high voiced ballad singing Dimash dropping to his knees. The thing is he is 22 years old here and he wants to have a good time. I can hardly blame him for that. Though not my favorite he still does a great job. Many, many reactors skip over this song because people say it isn't so good. I am glad you watched it.

Haters are going to hate 🙄 You're doing a good job ☺️ Some people criticise Dimash for his English accent..... For goodness sake he is not from the USA 🤷♀️🙆♀️🤦♀️ Nice reaction 🌹TY

Hi Josh, you are doing great, just continue your way, you have many many supporters and we love the gentle, kind and professional way you do your analysis. And, isn't it amazing how much - apart from more than half of China within 2 or 3 days after his first performance at The Singer - his competitors love him? You can only love this wonderful, highly-talented and charming young man Dimash! cheers from Melitta, Vienna!

You can check out his complicity with Terry Lin. Two wonderful singers and human beings in one wonderful friendship. Love watching them

The goal of each episode of this competition is to get the public to vote for you so it is the singer his/her task to get them on his/her hand. That is why with the 1st episode there was a discussion to do SOS because it is a song that would not be popular, finally his performance proved otherwise.
