When people ask me am I self-taught because I have taught myself to read music... I don't know how to answer... Taking trumpet lesson in high school 45 years ago... But, I have learned a lot from you and other instructional videos on KZbin as well as books... So I don't know how to answer if I'm self-taught completely... Because who really is... Anyways oh, thank you very much I never could figure out that contralto thing

If I can span from E2 to E4 (E5 with falsetto) in extremes (not claiming I can hit those extremes in confidence and easily), what does that make me? :D

Better to calculate your natural range without falsetto by relating your range to the nearest range identified in the video.

I think of the Mezzo Soprano as the 2nd Soprano/1st Alto range which is quite versatile. There another voice type jokingly called the "bari- tenor."😂

Yes it is and it’s more of a guide than a precise science.

I rhink one should remember that the tenor parts are notated one octave lower than sounding.

In open score the tenor parts are notated one octave higher than sounding in the treble clef in short score the tenor parts are notated at pitch in the bass clef.
