There is a saying in the guitar world... "It's not about the tree, it's all about the monkey" meaning a good musician will play well no matter the "quality" of the instrument. Eddy is a great violinist he would sound good even on a 30 dollar violin. The quality of the sound might not be the best, but the execution would be as good as always

It's probably for the same reasons classical and electric guitarists don't like each other--difference in technique, style and one thinking the other doesn't know their instrument. But keyboardists and pianists don't make fun of each other like that from what I've seen. 😅 I play both.
