The 1970 Colts and the 1975 Steelers both started their championship seasons in San Diego. Both seasons ended with victory over the Cowboys on the Polyturf of the Orange Bowl.

....and each season was preceded by a Vikings disappointment in ugly weather in Tulane Stadium for the Super Bowl.

Great years & a great team great season to remember. Great decade the 1970’s. What a great way to start a new decade. SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS. What a time to be growing up in Baltimore and being a BALTIMORE COLTS FAN. Having the man. JOHN UNITAS THE GREATEST EVER and FOREVER. R. I. P. JOHN.

Great days in Baltimore. Winning the right to go the Super Bowl (which they'd win) on the same dirty infield the Orioles had just won the World Series on 2 months prior.

Tale of Two John's Unitas and Mackey this would be the last kinda productive years for each. The Great Underrathed Reciever Roy Jefferson would make a Brief one year stop and Move on. The Great Underrated Hof snub MLB Mike Curtis, Ted Hendricks The Stork at Linebacker and a Good Year From Big Bad Bubba Smith!. Neat to see the Players I never seen before. But had there Football Cards 👍
