The BEST explanation I ever heard. It was so complicated when my professor taught it, but you made it seem like a child could do this. Great work!

I have a question, regarding myotomes for neurological level. Why the right one we use c8, and not t1? As its still at least more than 3. Please answer my question, thankyou so much

@CatalystUniversity If someone has a complete SCI at C6 but experiences sensation at C6 dermatomes, why is it said that the level of the lesion is at C6? This is like saying that if a particular wire is the sole supplier of electricity to a lightbulb, and the lightbulb is still on, that must mean the wire has been cut. Additionally, why is the level of the legion different for mytomes if a score of 3/5 vs. 2/5 is present?

My wife was diagnosed with cerebelar ataxia 2 years ago, they said it was a result of a deficiency in vitamin b1 and b12. Now she is able to walk but with difficulty. I believe her posterior and anterior spinal cords and sensories are damaged. How can I help those spinal cords and sensories to recuperate? Thank you, I would greatly appreciate if you can help us in any way. Thank you, and may God bless you.
