I think the hierarchy list makes sense as well as I know I felt bad for Blitzo being insulted by that Kraken mom and her kid, but that’s sadly most likely a daily occurrence.😢 Also, given that Sinners are immortal but have a poor quality of life overall, it makes a lot of sense too that they’d treat the native demons horribly since kicking someone they see as lower down would likely boost their own sense of superiority.😞 I’m also willing to bet the lack of migration to the Envy ring means they have the fewest crossbreed species, making them feel more “Purebred.”🤔

I made this head cannon idea of how much water for each ring of hell has: #7 - Wrath ring 4.1%. Since most of Wrath is showed to be very dry it makes sense it’s has the least amount of water, and having very high droughts. #6 - Pride ring 10.89%. Despite having the second least amount of water, Pride might have rivers and small oceans but aren’t as big as the lower rings. #5 - Gluttony ring 18%. Due to its tropical theme shown in the currently unreleased episode 8 it’s possible that Gluttony would have beaches, and would have some oceans. #4 - Lust ring 34.69%. Lust is where we are seeing more water in hell, due to it’s almost endless rain possibly water leaking from Greed. #3 - Sloth ring 50%. When we first saw Sloth we also got what seemed to be endless water falls from Envy possibly and what both the floor of sloth and hell it’s self would be an ocean beyond the horizon. #2 - Greed ring 71%. Greed was told to have the nearest ocean, and just like earth it would have the same amount of way hold the ring, it’s also one of the two’s other being Envy ring we get to see some types of sea creatures with the latter having more variety. #1 - Envy ring 97.46. Out of all the rings of hell Envy has the largest amount of water, with very few islands and continents. And home to many sea demons, it makes sense why Envy has the largest ocean. Do you happen to like this head cannon?

This could actually make sense, since the envy demons we've seen in Western Energy act like they came from a "really exclusive community". So the envy ring might be as you say, mostly water, making the inhabitants of that place like in a sort of "gated community", away from the rest of the other demons since most of them are land walkers (such as imps, hellhounds and succubus.)

I think that Imps started in Greed, some in Wrath, those are the ones like Moxxie’s mum and Striker, with orange skin, and years of inbreeding for the first colonists made them shorter and shorter, yet some moved back to Greed. Then some Greed imps migrated to Lust, obtaining wings from Succubus. Then some migrating to Pride, gaining shorter horns.

(IN OVERALL POWER DISREGARDING PHYSICAL STRENGTH) Crimson is probably the strongest Imp there is in hell as he has power over the lone sharks who are a higher species than him and what we saw he is capable of doing in the Moxxie Mother flashbacks and he mafia boss. above Striker who I’d say is second as he has angelic weaponry and Blitzø Third as he can travel to the main realm but does not posses any angelic weaponry. I like how Crimson is presented as intimidating as well, sets the feeling for mafia boss.

I think it’s possible that Lilith might also have some roll on why Sinners are above most native born as well. I mean she is technically a sinner so her being a queen of hell /wife of Lucifer might be part of the reasons sinners are in the middle of the hierarchy. Although it’s also very possible that higher ups, maybe even herself, choose to forget that fact. I really hope that in Helluva boss we get more info on the Ars Goetia/Seven Deadly Sins origins though. Because it sounds like Lucifer is the only Fallen Angel as opposed to having multiple fallen angels that turned into demons.

This video has sparked an interest of mine: Where there are social, economic and political classes, there have existed people, groups and movements trying to abolish these classes. It would be interesting to see a character or even a whole faction within Hell that wants to abolish it’s classist system, possibly through an uprising or even a full-on revolution by lower class demons and others sympathetic to their cause. It would be even more interesting to see the reactions of characters like Charlie, IMP, Stolas and others, as well as their stances on the matter and who they side with.

Not to mention that, if there's any threat of a population issue in the rest of Hell (aside from Pride), due to overbreeding, the pounds may employ officers trained specifically to bring in runaways, abandoned pups, or even (if the situation is bad enough) lost pups who've been separated from their parents. Any minor found unattended on the streets would be fair game to throw into what-is-essentially a system that has all the worst traits of human prison and inhumane animal shelters (potentially complete with a Death Row if my other conjecture is accurate).

The idea of lilith in this setting is a curious 1, since this is based on judeo-christian mythology. Lilith in mythology was technically human, created alongside adam as his original opposite. In this setting, that would make her an earthborn sinner, except that lilith can't die in mythology, she wasn't around at the time eve and adam partook of the forbidden fruit and thus wasn't part of the punishment god bestowed upon them in removing their immortality. So lilith, if she is the same 1 from mythology would fall into a strange category, earthborn sinner that never died originally, has the original strength and power of those created directly by god. This really makes me think she's the most dangerous thing in the series

I think Hellhounds rank slightly lower than imps due to them being percieved as dumber, too aggressive etc. They make for excellent muscle, being stronger than imps but not much other. (And that's the role we've seen them in so far). Imps can at least do just about any kind of job. Whether that'd be construction, killing, farming etc.

Ok, can I mention a thing I noticed for any fellow Invader Zim fans? have you noticed the way imps are treated varies HEAVILY on their height? Not unlike the Irkens where the "Allmighty tallest" were their empire's leaders? I know Viv used to be a fan at least somewhat. Think Imp status could have taken a note from that? Cause where Imps like Striker and Blitzo and Fizzaroli (and potentially Verosika if Succubi are a type of Imp) are very tall they seem to have more physical powers and more status than most. Millie is kind of an exception, but Moxxie (being about medium sized also) Only has the skills and strength he does because of his specific upbringing. Most Imps are about their size and vary in strength skill and status, but there is something about particularly tall or tiny imps that tands out as we saw the particularly tiny imps are made to be butlers and even pets, so I wonder if height plays a role in their status like it does the Irken and if that's a coincidence or not.

Angels are by their very nature stronger.. Even the Cherubs can't technically be killed by most things in hell. And their angelic weaponry can kill Sinners and Demon Royalty. Cherubs are pretty useless though so not much threat. The Exterminators that come down for the purge would probably check everybody except the Ars Goetia and above. And even then they'd be a damm big threat. Good thing they're just there to wipe out Sinners.

Main thing about sinners and overlords would be for me that they are stuck in pride ring. their hierarchy makes sense only there because if one, like said Karen, would never leave compounds of her compy life, staying only in three rings worth Visiting. Lulu World may be the only thing worth seeing in the Pride Ring for the Caren and she would still require to not mingle with people she would see below her and I believe that deep-sea deamons see themselves as the highest class except for royality. Objetively hierarchy makes sense but I doubt they see it this way

I was also thinking imps from both pride and wrath would be similar colors, so hard to distinguish, so it'd make sense why she thought blitz was from wrath. We don't see many imps in pride for whatever reason so maybe it's simply a numbers game to guess a red imp is from wrath. Or maybe the stamp on blitz and fizz's head means they're from pride instead of wrath? Idk, they both have it and cash buckzo does too so maybe its just a family thing.

I think anyone could be an overlord (including imps and maybe hellhounds); it's about power or control in their community. It hasn't been stated that overlords can only rule in the pride ring; just that sinners can only exist in the pride ring. Moxxies father being an overlord is a possibility. And i think why theirs so many sinner overlords is because of the increase in sinning on earth or Alastair killed most (if not all) the hellborn overlords(they can be killed without angelic weapons) of that generation. Its possible the sinners rose up to the higher class because of those reasons and the hellborns were originally a higher class above the sinners.

Not just medicine. My headcanon is that there exists a sector of Sloth that has production plants of all of Hell's technological devices like the smartphones that can communicate between Hell and the mortal realm, Hell's Internet, and the infrastructure to allow such tech to work. All that made possible by the Overlords in Pride pitching their ideas to Belphegor or Baphomet. Another sector could be dedicated to Hell's postal service with mail sorting and distribution.

The thing about sinner demons is that, while they are obviously capable of being MORE POWERFUL than hellborn demons, one of the few things we know they are outright forbidden from doing is leaving the Pride ring -- the ring that just also happens to be the one closest to Heaven and gets purged every single year. This makes the greater power of the average sinner demon less like a higher caste and more like cow. And just as the average cow would easily overpower the average human if they got into a 1v1 fight but still spends its entire life at the mercy of humans, the sinner demons have more power than the hellborn, but are treated by the hellborn as nothing more than potential sources of income -- customers to bleed dry while confined to the Pride ring until they get wiped out during the next extermination. As for how the hellborn rank compared to each other, I wouldn't invest too much in that debate since the one thing that seems clear is that the native hellborn all don't seem to have very high opinions of the others. We saw this on full display in the waiting room, with Kraken Karen deriding Blitzo as a "filthy Wrathian" and "unemployed rabble", and him repeatedly firing back by implying that she's a whore. The incubus, loan sharks and baphomets (who aren't doped up) also make a habit of pathologically talking down to others. The only hellborn who don't appear to be subjected to this are the hellhounds, and that might just be because their lot in life is so low as to seemingly exist outside of the usual class warfare: The "working class" demons treat them as kin, while the "high society" demons employ them like status symbols, similar to the way cats and dogs find their way into the homes of everyone from all walks of life on Earth.

I have a theory about Hell itself since in a few various clips we see that Earth and perhaps Heaven are two separate planets, meaning that Hell itself is a planet as well. The various rings of Hell may represent hollowed out rings inside the planet, sort of like a Russian doll. The Pride ring is on the outside and therefore has the biggest surface area for the various sinners who may take up most of the population in Hell. This may also explain why the Sloth ring features geological formations in its skies, large floating rocks, as the sloth ring is in the middle of this planet, and is affected by it's gravity differently. My personal take after piecing together bits and pieces of the two series, but I would not be surprised if this was not the case.

No, Imps are specifically the species with the red skin and black and white striped horns, native hellborn the lot of them. Sinners might wind up with an imp-like demon form but they aren't imps.
