I think someone was just trolling and some media thought it was real. Not the first time that's happened and you apparently fell for it as well. And when I say not the first time, media especially US media, has repeatedly blown up things that were pointless or take things out of context, or fall for clickbait trolling. Look up what some media headlined about PewDiePie for a prime example. MSM is still out of touch with online things.

@LGBTQlegend i deal with this daily. They also do not inspect every one on the planet, most business do it themselves. The only requirement is that they arent damaged, and they need to be charged. if they happen to not be charged, you can bring it to any FD and they will charge it.
