R.I.P Justin, my friend. Died of cancer when we were in 6th grade, he was 13. I remember being in art class one day with him, then the next he wasn’t there. He had headaches, and it was a brain tumor. They tried surgeries, and all. We celebrated his 13th birthday October, it was so sad, it was a big deal. The news was there he got to ride in a speaking little car, had cake and juice. By next April, he had passed, I’m now Almost 18, I just graduated. He still come to my mind every now and then. So to all you younger kids out there. Live each second, each day with everything you’ve got. Love all, don’t hate, cause you never know if that’s the last time you’ll see that person or thing. Be happy with what you got, no matter how bad you have it, it can always be worse. R.I.P, Justin.

Yesterday mar 2024 was my first time hearing this song as part of a reggae mix . I tuned into the words and my ears started ringing very loud. My beloved dad passed away September 2023 this seems like a song he would have sent me. Felt like he was urging me to listen to the words from the spirit realm to see what I’ve become. I’ve got to get myself together. I got stuck in a moment and I can’t get out…

This is one of my favorite songs. Every time I get down or know that the road in front of me is going to be hard, I listen to the words of this song. If I could paint what goes through my mind when I listen to this man, my walls would be filled with priceless art. Thank you Bono and U2 for filling the world with great sound! So much better then all the mindless chatter that goes on these days.

When someone dies who has been especially to someone. That person goes to heaven. People who were old are young again and people who were sick are restored to health and people who were injured are made strong again like we remember them in our dreams gone by. In heaven people are happy and content. Except for one small thing they are not with their special person who loved them on Earth and they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. Then the day will come in the future when you will land on heaven and your friend will stop and look into the distance with his eyes of intent and his body quivers and suddenly he will run faster and faster. You have been seen. When two finally meet. You two will cling together in joyful reunion never to be parted again. As you look into the eyes of your friend so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. From that point you two will be heaven together forever.

This song saved my life.... and helped put me ón the path to achieve my college degrees ...l mean l was emotionally low man.... this song changed my life....it gives you hope I can put you in a place to let you know that no matter what's going on drugs emotional Financial homelessness abusiveness anything it let you know that you can steal pull yourself up and a chief whatever it is that you're trying to achieve or at least put you on the path to whatever it is that you need to do to get yourself together this song needs to be put in the Hall of Fame I know it has saved probably literally millions of people's lives I'm curious to know just how many lives that it's saved...a most powerful uplifting song.. I never thought I would be one of those people to say that a song saved my life because when I was growing up l would hear people say that a particular song saved their life and I remember thinking oh how lame is that and I was saying that's so lame how can a song save a person's life but I was just a child and, naive I know now, how powerful music truly truly is thank you U2 thank you!

I acknowledge your pain, though I may not understand how you quite feel. Life has a way of making things work out for us even if we feel like sometimes we are drowning. "Everything will be okay in the end, if it's not okay then it's not the end". When the tide goes out, it always comes back in. Because you are simply riding the waves of your life, not drowning in them. You are stronger than any setbacks or hardships you may endure, because the human spirit cannot be quenched nor defeated. The happiness you once felt is still within you, it can never be erased. You are never broken, sometimes we just believe we are because we look at the flame within ourselves thinking it's about to go out, when it is merely flickering… I believe in your courage, because everything is not lost, and every day bears new miracles. Life is never static and is constantly changing, surprising us when we least expect it… it's just its very essence, and if we just flow with it and are open to new shifts in perspective through the smallest of things that make life worth holding onto, we can see blessings even in the darkness. This in fact, is where the biggest blessings reside. Behold the darkness, yet curse it not. For within it is the knowing of which would change everything, and your answers will reveal themselves to you in unexpected ways, moments at a time. In this moment, extended to infinity, you can take this breath and know that you are loved-you ARE love. The force that guides the stars guides you too. Sending you infinite light, dear human. This too, shall pass. Your courage is the unsung bravery that keeps the world spinning. Feel free to message me if and whenever you would like to speak to someone. You never walk alone. Remember the mountains and valleys that brought you here… You are wrapped in endless, boundless grace even if you cannot see it yet. PEACE AND BLESSINGS.
