I'm grabbing a new setup, one had I've lost the warn remote and sadly the winch isn't compatible w Bluetooth, what I'm looking for is min 10k lbs capacity

Can we leave the plug cable on the winch controller unit all the time? If yes will it be affected from mud snow rain etc after some time or it will not?
