Hi Lexi, the holiday packaging is everything with this collection! It is so beautifully detailed with the most magical colours. Honestly, I'm so entranced by the packaging and the faceted multicolour luminizers that I can't focus properly lol. Even the barrel of the lipstick has a gorgeous design. Its all so pretty! I ended up ordering 108 Shimmering snowflakes because it's an "Online Exclusive" and in the past those tend to go sooner. I don't have the prior similar shades so I am glad I waited to get it wity this whimsical Alicorn flying over a city. Its a pass for me on the lipstick and quad. I have a lot of minty green shadows from Clionadh.

I’m in the minority here, but I’m not excited about this year’s packaging unfortunately. I own and love the CdP holiday collections from the past three years, and use them extensively. This year however, I’m not sure what dream they’re trying to paint for us. Paris, alicorns, and county fair, all at the same time? I really look forward to the CdP holiday collection - they always do such a good job, and both the packaging and products last me for years, year-round. This year, I’m just not feeling it. If someone has an interpretation of what they’re trying to convey, please share :)

Since the Hermes eyeshadow quad is very similar, (even with the olive green) to the CDP. Would you choose the Hermes or CDP eye shadow palette if you could only get one. Too expensive to get both

Thanks for picking up the entire collection and showing all the comparisons. I have not restocked any of the luminizers since the tree disaster. If you were only going to pick two from this collection and the permanent, which two would you go with (my complexion is in-between fair and light, neutral leaning cool, so pretty much a half shade darker than your complexion)?

It's hard to say since I don't have all of the shades yet (I have a few on my wishlist) but I think I would choose the 107 and 201 (permanent).

I see the luminizer has 2 years shelf life. How does it perform after 2 years from your experience? I have #17 for one and a half year and wonder if I need to throw away soon

I keep mine longer than 2 years with no change in texture or performance. Powder products can keep a lot longer than the suggested shelf life usually.

The eye shadow palette looks a bit like the SUQQU palette with the green & brown … I’m not sure the number … however I didn’t plan on those highlighters to take my breath away… now I’m on my way to pick it up!!! Lexi, so excited for this review! I love the CDP holiday collection and usually pick up pieces every year. The packaging is so beautiful!! I’m so getting the 107 Magical Lights highlighter! I’m a collector of these highlighters so 108 is very similar to last years as you pointed out. I’ll probably pick up the lipstick. I’m still undecided on the eyeshadow. This is the most beautiful packaging I’ve seen! I have to say though, the color story is not really my favorite. I have 5 of the CdP eyeshadow palettes, and they are really nice. Great quality. Oh the packaging!! 🤩 I really loved how the shadows looked on you. I want this quad! The lipstick shade is beautiful, too. I think I’ll prioritize the quad because the packaging is refillable. If the lipstick case was refillable, I’d definitely get it too. I’m so glad you mentioned that the release was reminiscent of the Hermes. That’s exactly what I thought, even with the lipstick! They are not the same, but you can tell what the seasonal trends are. I love a terracotta with greens and blues so it’s all right up my alley!! (Plus my Hermes lipsticks will fit right in with this quad) I have 2 luminizers that I don’t use much, so I’m skipping on that. Thanks for another wonderful review!

I was hoping I wouldn't like these!! 🤣😂 I can see the collection will work very well on fair neutral skin and the blue shade even works w green eyes. The luminizers are so pretty. I bet they'd work great layered under blush. The lipstick shade is fabulous too. The packaging is just soooo gorgeous. I never buy anything for the packaging but this is probably the prettiest limited edition I've ever seen at least in luxury. And every item is easy to wear for me 😅 darn it!!! I definitely still want the Dior Ecrin palette, and backstage and I'm eyeing different blushes. I'm trying to not add more clutter to my boutique sized make up collection and restrict what I get.

I love the Cle de Peau packaging, but not the colors of the products. The lipstick will turn orange on me. I’m not thrilled about the terracotta in the quad. And I’m not partial to CDP highlighters - too shimmery for me. They almost look ashy on me. But I do LOVE your eyeshadow look! It’s a good thing I am passing, since there are so many other things I want.

I have never used the primer shade as a topper, but I have used it as a lid or brow bone shade. I’ll have to try it as a topper sometime. I also bought my quads when they first launched and the primer shade is still in excellent condition in all six of my quads. I was on the fence about this year’s quad until I saw you swatching it. I love that soft cool green shade. As for the luminzers, all of my cases are refillable. Shimmering Snowflakes reminds me of #11 Radiant Aurora. The new shade does appear to have a tad more color, but I don’t think it will register when applied so I’ll stick with my #11. I wish there was a tint that was different from the ones I already have because I love the case.

You are right! I think the tones are similar but the TF is frostier in appearance.
