3:36 this is a well designed water feeder. However, the holes that were cut...are the edges smooth, so the chickens can be comfortable with getting their heads in the hole and out of the hole? Looks to be a pleasant community that can be expanded because your property is ample. A large aviary style "park" for the birds is possible... From chicken run to chicken park via a well implemented walkway.

You created some beautiful and well thought out solutions-I challenge you to make it even better by building a duck pond so the ducks can fully immerse themselves. Also, look into using coconut coir for nesting, not flat but fluff it up for them…All of the birds run away when you come by, do you talk to them or try to give them treats out of your hand?

Really nice ... I'm a new mother of two ducks now. I've been working really hard to make things easy on me and very nice for them. I forget about this every once in awhile but your video reminded me, 😡🤬 snakes...😢😢😢😢 I don't want snakes

I like it. If you use atticfoil, trap the heat in the winter and block the heat in that summer

Wow, these coops are beautiful! I have 4 ducklings that are 7 weeks old, almost full grown. I have to wait for permits to build a duck coop so they are languishing in an octagonal playpen in my bathroom, it’s a little tight in there. The water situation is not good, I have their flock thing in a tray in their playpen, they run right through it all and splash like crazy, the little hooligans. I’m going to see if I can adapt your system to work with the playpen so that the water is outside and they can reach through a gate to drink and submerge their heads.

My ducks need to swim to oil their feathers, and mate. They need high humidity to set eggs. Ducks need water.,light, and wood to sit on. Mess is all part of it, they are aquatic birds.

Yes, although with the way his is set up they can still get beak fulls and to splash themselves with to wash off
