I don't have any family they died 40 years ago and I'm nearly 60 andI'm disabled so people assume that friends and family always around in my case they weren't however I have a carer who comes in every day and I have OCD I'm pleased to say that my home is immaculate and my dying breath will be bringing me the bleach but I cannot believe that happened short space of time that's years and years and I would like to know how they can do all of that in less than 12 hours

I had a friend who became a regular at my local pub years back. The guy was well dressed, intelligent, face shaved to the bone etc. One night we all got kicked out on closing time and he invited us back to his. My God, I have never seen anything so awful. He forced the door open through piles of old food and alcohol containers which released a stench so foul that one of the boys barfed up his evening refreshments right there on the stairs. They about faced and left. The poor guy immediately burst in to tears. Curious, I went inside, crushing and crashing my way through the hallway. It never let up. I was waist deep in filth at every turn. The toilet was encrusted by about an inch thick layer of shit. The curtains had become so mouldy that they rotted off the rails and on to his bed, which turned out to be a vast collection of Japanese adult cartoon DVDs covered by a piss stained, fart scorched bed sheet. His pillow was a rucksack filled with rotting clothes and, the clincher, laying on top of a vintage computer monitor ... a plastic bag full of soiled women's underwear. I left ... at speed.

A couple of months in the doll house, some medication and a psychiatrist later, he was out and about. I only saw him twice after that. Once in another pub where he played guitar and sang at the open mic night (rather well too). The last time was at the train station with a lady friend. I always wonder what became of him. And her underwear ...
