Whats the chain linked thing that you drag the brush on with the paint thinner called?
@paintwithfaye2 жыл бұрын
Hey! It’s a plastic coated screen that Bob designed. It fits inside the BR thinner. bucket. 😀

@@paintwithfaye i am actually going to my local store in sweden to buy some stuff for the cleaning of bob ross equipment. Do you have any recommendations? I am in Sweden so i cant really buy any bob ross stuff. My uncle in the U.S had to mail them to me😂

@@TurboAutist-sg7lo i’m sorry, I don’t know of any alternatives that are available there. I think we have Bob Ross instructors in Sweden. Have you talked to any of them?

Can you reuse the paint thinner ?
@paintwithfaye3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you certainly can! The pigment of the paint will settle to the bottom of the can, and the paint thinner will become almost clear again. I just continue to add more paint thinner as times go by. 😊

what is the freezer bag for? is it because the paint thinner evaporates faster without it since the bucket is made of plastic and i dont think it seals it as tight as an aluminum paint can
@paintwithfaye2 жыл бұрын
I like using the freezer bag for a number of reasons. One, when I wash my brushes, I can use it to squeeze the brush from the outside. Also, the pigment setting to the bottom of the bag is easier to dispose of than if it settles to the bottom of the bucket. I seal my bag and the lid of the plastic bucket (which seals so well that it's difficult for me to remove) and both together do a really good job.

I hope you’re not breathing in particulates of thinner as you’re beating your brush.
@paintwithfaye9 ай бұрын
Hi there, no worries! I’ve been using paint thinner for 24 years now, painting very often. I’ve never experienced any kind of breathing problems. As long as a person is careful, and do not have any underlying health conditions, I believe they will be fine. 😀

Go ahead and beat the devil out of it in your living room. I’d love to see that 😁
@ZonalJump974 ай бұрын
Considering beating the devil out of it on the easel is what probably caused Bob to get cancer in the first place, maybe the brush beater rack is a better alternative. Not to mention Bob has recommeneded to use the beater rack before.

Hell no you didn’t beat the devil out it so this isn’t the bob ross way of cleaning your brushes
