Consider having the dryer vent cleaned. There may be a build up of lint that is not allowing the dryer to vent properly. This can be a fire hazard! Love the laundry room redo!

I do have a video-idea that I would love to see done by the sorry girls and the sorry girls alone: My mother in law gave me a book about DIY-projects from the 80s. The techniques are interesting - the end-results are mostly HIDEOUS! It would be so cool to see you pick a page by chance - adopt the technique but put a modern, professional and aesthetic twist on it. There must be books like mine in thrift stores, right? I would be very willing to send mine (it's in German though - but that might add to the challenge! :-D). Might have to comment this under every video now because I want it to happen so very badly!!

The laundry room looks really good now. :) Cleaning out the dreaded closets and paperwork helps motivate me to reorganize my stuff. I have almost done all the closets in every room ( over the past 6 months) and I am addicted to baskets as a tool to conceal and keep things looking super neat. I have a few more spaces that need some heavy decluttering so that's on my to-do list this spring or it will have to wait until next winter. Spending the summer on the outside and lounging as much as possible. Summer is short as you know in the GTA!

The laundry room looks absolutely AMAZING. I loooooove how it turned out! As for the scanning of documents - I'm a teacher and have SO MANY paper copies of things from over the years and I've been trying to convince myself to digitize them for nearly a year but it is just so daunting to start. I very much wish I could accomplish it in one go, but it would be impossible so I haven't started. This has reminded me that things take time!

It’s so amazing storing everything digitally. We also don’t get any snail mail in Denmark besides postcards and online order receipts. I also get all shopping receipts digitally so I don’t have anything in paper. For safety reasons I keep the most important stuff like my passport in a hidden drawer in a foot panel. It has all done wonders for my calm and peace of mind.

DIY microwave heating pads are actually really easy to make. I recommend using a fat quarter of a heat-safe fabric (natural fibers) and 1-3 pounds of dry rice. Just sew a rectangle and fill it with with rice. Maybe add a couple seams in the middle to help lower amounts of rice sit evenly. It’d be a good project for TSG to tackle in one of their easy diy gift videos. I got a nice pair of Dr. Scholl’s shoes from thred up! And some nice dresses and peasant blouses.
