It was a very difficult decision to make but I’ll be able to visit classrooms in this new position.

I have a couple guesses. 1) you're going to be a literacy or instructional coach. 2) My other guess is you're working somewhere making curriculum like for a company or district. 3) My 3rd guess is youre leaving education entirely. 4) just thought of another possibility. Maybe you're moving on to teach teachers or something in a university position. 5) some sort of assistant like receptionist or for tech department or literacy department

Seeing everything stacked up made my heart start racing. I am so exhausted from a rough year teaching middle school. The last day I gave up on moving anything else. My house was a mess and my storage unit was a mess. I will be moving to Pre-K thru 1st grade. I haven't even seen the campus or the classroom yet. I wish you the best. I hope I can stay a little longer this time. Take care of your health and start downsizing. Each year it takes more energy and time.

And this is how good teachers discover their true worth and leave the classroom for something more fulfilling. Ahhh school districts…they want good teachers and the destroy the ones they have. I was teacher of the year as an English teacher but left it all behind bcuz the red tape and lack of support was so destructive to my mental health. I ended up moving to a private school in the communications department outside the classroom and still on a school calendar! KNOW YOUR WORTH TEACHERS! It’s going to take public school districts an ETERNITY to get it right. Maybe never…

I just finished year 5 of teaching and am moving out of state to pursue my Master's degree at Harvard Graduate School of Education. There were so many things I struggled to part with, but in the end, I decided all I really truly cared to keep if I couldn't take anything else was the class pictures I had of my students and me. Bittersweet, but new adventures ahead--for both of us! Looking forward to hearing about your new position.
