What,,!? ,,,, the color is part of having freeflow headers........ I luv that color...each to their own.

Hi, Chris. Yep, I totally agree. It’s just that sometimes (if not cleaned properly?) the metal tarnishes on the leading “edge curve” of the front of the pipes. It could be something to do with the quality of the metal, but my Thruxton does the same 😕 I love the heat induced colour, but not the grey tarnishing in the middle of the lovely straw/blue. Cheer, Len

Great video & info. What size Verex pipes you got 38mm or 44.5mm? Autosul is amazing isn't it.

Greetings, Ruahines Rider. I wasn’t sure what size the header pipes were, but when I measured them I was surprised to find that they are 38mm. Looking at them, they look bigger than that. Yep, Autosol is a great product - been around for a long time. Cheers, Len

Hey, great video btw, I had the same issue but the top of my headers went a bit shiny due to the polish I used and considering they are brushed like you said is not a good look, using the scotch brite pad will that return it to a brushed look again?

Hi, Joneszee. Yeah, you can use the Scotchbrite pad dry to give the pipes a brushed look. You just need to use it in a circular motion, not up and down, if you know what I mean. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Len

Hi, Volgin. The liquid is Autosol Bluing Remover and I used a very fine 3M brand Scotchbrite pad to remove the old stains on the pipes. I hope this helps. Cheers
