As a follow up to this procedure, it's a good idea to drain/refill the reservoir (just once, not the multiple times procedure) after driving it each day for a few days. The sitting time, engine/road vibrations and active clutch-use really helps bring all the dirt up to the reservoir for you to suck out and replace.

if I were to drain it? how would I do it? just pull the end of the tube? how do I get the air out? just bought a barn TransAm and the reservoir is empty :/

@erickbren8702 Most people drain the reservoir by sucking it up in a syringe. If it's already empty, I'd try filling it slowly and watching for air bubbles (the lines could still be all filled and air-free). Once you have it full, look up the procedure for bleeding an F-body clutch...there are quite a few videos on here.

It took all of about 15 min. You must need glasses if you think the fluid was clean. Lol

It doesn’t take that long since this system doesn’t hood a lot of fluid at all but I do agree that the fluid wasn’t that bad
