I’m cleaning my grandmas vintage kitchen aid using this tutorial. I’m thinking of all the decades of gunk from all the cookies and pies she made… makes me a little emotional. Now I can keep on using it after she’s gone. ❤️ Thanks for sharing!

This would be so useful if I had a kitchen aid 😂😂 it’s on the wish list!! But to be fair it’s a good reminder to give my Morphy Richards a good deep clean too. As you say in the tutorial gunk gets everywhere 🙈 🍒❤️ xxx

I usually tap the drip ring back on with a rubber mallet. I have never had an issue when the rain falling off because of taking it off frequently for cleaning. Every couple of years I actually regressed my KitchenAid. So that's when I do my deep cleaning of it but I don't go to the extreme of separating the head from the base from the head.

Thank you Tracey for this video. I have 2 kitchen aids that really could do with a deep clean! I bought my second one as I thought my first one was on its way out. But watching your video the long pin you took out and the small screw inside just might have been the problem all along! as the top part seemed to have dropped down too much. Looked into getting it fixed with Kitchen Aid and the call out charge alone was quite substantial! Going to have a go at fixing the problem myself thanks to you!! I will let you know how I get on! Love all your other videos too! Thanks again xxx
