I appreciate this breakdown! It's really hard to find people teaching the most basic information. A lot of guys forget that someone had to teach them this stuff at one point too, but because it happened when they were 4 years old the information feels like something they've just always known and so they assume everyone knows it.

Your explanation of the diverse types of screws is just "awesome", I knew there were distinct types of these screws for indoor or outdoor jobs, but the way you explained just is great, I normally try to "use" the right type of screw and tool for the work I am doing (I am an enthusiastic DIY guy), and I love to do things around my house when it comes for me to fix them or fit them (not always I get them right) as I am not a professional but I have my tools and bits and pieces to go around and fix things whenever possible.

Great video just a tip @11:15 deck screws are not made with corrosion resistant materials. Just a corrosion resistant coating as they are still just like indoor construction screws, except the stainless screws.

Thanks for this excellent and informative video!🤝👏🏼 This is now my reference to everything - screws and bolts. I have gained much more that I was looking for. I have an idea. Why don't make a video explaining screw gauge, dimensions in millimetres and inches, expressed as fractions and decimal? Also, what's the typical sizes for different applications. Thank you!

Concrete screws are great! You might have mentioned that there are at least two diameters and it is essential to use the right size drill for the screw. Square drive is a good chouce for this type of screw. "Concrete anchor" is a broader term. Some concrete anchors are not screws, although a screw might be part of the anchor.

how's it going.. My toilet paper holder fell off. I now need a wall anchor. The screw that fell off was 1/4 in diamter. It was 1 inch long. The wall is drywall or something close to it. I don't think it matters as there are already 2 holdes in wall from previous screw. What SIZE wall mount do I need? What should the size say on box? Does it simply say 1/4 diameter wall mount? I just need those cheap ones.. I'm so darn confused. Thanks
