Thank god! Yes, please! Lookin' forward to this! Edit: Sad. None of them are clear except for Nova3D High Transparency. Have you tried warming up that resin prior to printing, to make the viscosity a lot lower so that it MAY print better?

between nova3d and g217 which one should i get? resione is more expensive than nova3d.

Did you do any post processing after curing to get the clearness back or just left it straight after curing. You are supposed to coat it with a clear coat to hide the print layers to stop the refraction that is causing the cloudiness

@@foam27 No, the label on the coat used in the video says "flat". This means matte. It's a clear coat, but not the glossy kind of clear coat that is supposed to bring back the shine.

Hi! What setting did you use on nova3d? I started with their recommended setting and stopped at 9second exposures on a mono screen and still can’t even get a successful calibration print. .02mm layer fight, 80°F ambient

I put the bottom and standard layer cure times I used with the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4k in the description, but here are some more specifics of what I used. Bottom Exposure 25s (6 layers), Normal Exposure 5.5s, 50 micron (.05mm) layer height, 5 mm z lift distance, 50mm/min lift/retract speed, rest time/off time 1s. It's always best to check with the manufacturer for recommended settings for your machine. I haven't used their regular clear resin, but from their settings page, it looks like exposure of about 1.5s to 2s and bottom exposure of 28s to 35s is probably a good place to start. www.anycubic.com/blogs/news/resin-settings-for-anycubic-3d-printers

I haven't ever needed to change the power %, only the timings. It's always best to start with the recommended settings given by the resin manufacturer for your printer. If it isn't listed, most manufacturers are very helpful if you ask them for recommended settings for their resins to use with your printer.

Usefulness is not there when you don't tune the exposure first. On my Elegoo Saturn 8K, default settings are 2.5s per 0.05mm per layer. With Anycubic ABS Like Plus, it has to be 3.0s to 3.3s per 0.05mm layer. Totally oranges and pineapples comparisons when using same default settings across different resins.

Sorry for the confusion. When I mention using default settings, I'm referring to the recommended settings from the resin manufacturer for that particular resin for my machine. The settings are different for each resin, I didn't use the same setting for all of them. I'll include those in the description
