I love morning walks. It sets the tone for the day and it’s not as humid. 😂 But it helps me to think through a lot of things; work, life, etc. it makes a difference in my mental health.

Working out in the morning is my go-to but I’ve got my music blasting in my ear and I’m typically working through an intense training session so my mind doesn’t wander but I look forward to it and like totally disconnecting. My more strategic thinking comes on Saturday or Sunday there is a coffee shop that’s a 10 minute walk and I can clear my head. After watching this am thinking about incorporating a mid day walk or afternoon walk to clear my head. Thank you Jill

"If you don't allow your mind to wander you'll never get to interesting places" - not my quote but I like it a lot.

I love walking as well. It has replaced running in my life. I usually have a BPM (beats per minute) tempo music streaming to keep my heart rate in my preferred zone. But I do like your thoughts on clearing one’s mind and clarity for the day ahead. Thanks for another wonderful video of useful and practical suggestions Jill.

Excellent advice. I like to walk before I sit down at my desk in the morning.

We share something in common: the love of walking. Like you, I like to walk and I walk a lot. I only travel by public transport and by walking. Every day, I also go out for a short hike of 30 to 45 minutes but not in the morning like you, more around 3 a.m. in the afternoon. In the morning, I prefer to practice some breathing exercises and a 20-minute meditation session. As I am autistic, I absolutely must have a gentle awakening in order to avoid any cognitive overload. Walking and meditating keeps my mind clear. These daily activities allow me to reset my mind and stay focused on my life goals and, above all, calm.

Hello Jill, thanks for the great video. I can very much relate to your walking routine as mid-distance runs do it for me. May I ask, how you are capturing, if at all, things that might come to mind during your walk? The ideas, to-do's, the change in priorities, etc. Looking forward to the next part of your series. Stay well.

Hi, any ideas I capture in apple notes as these are mostly for the KZbin channel (non-work window stuff), and I use a digital to-do list to capture and prioritise tasks.
