Hey stop making fun of the Robinhooders! They're making me lots of money
I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own, which was scary at 53 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. After 3 years, I am 56 yo and have put $9,000 in an IRA and $40,000 in my portfolio with CFA, Evelyn Infurna. Since the goal of getting a job was to invest for retirement and NOT up my lifestyle, I was able to scale this quickly to $150,000. If I can do this in a year, anyone can.

I would say one of the biggest things for new investors is to never invest in a company or entity you don't understand. If you don't understand it, know how the company makes its money, or how the basics about the company's finances, wait to invest until you do! There is so much great and free education out there and it is better to gain that education before investing.

l love your video. Large investors need to understand the content of investing completely differently than small investors do. Warren buffett once said that if he has one million of capital to invest he would guarantee a return of 40% per annum. It would be very interesting to understand the different valuation methods for valuing investment
@danieljamal37093 жыл бұрын
The decision to invest is an acknowledgement that it comes with certain risks. Not all investments will do well and some may lose money. However, without risk, there would be no opportunity to potentially earn the higher returns that can help you grow your wealth.
@veramonique17243 жыл бұрын
Remember, diversification is an approach to help manage investment risk. It does not eliminate the risk of loss if security prices decline. Because investing can be complicated, consider working with a financial professional to help guide you on your wealth-building journey.

10:41 In addition to that,picking stock of an Industrial kin would be ideal. Meaning if you have stock in a tech company try looking for stock in one of it's equal competitors. One could even broaden that approach by acquiring stock in say the top 4 or 5 companies of any given industry. Although I'm just an individual who has yet to pop the Stock Cherry. Sounds like a solid idea yet I'm sure is much easier said than done. Although if there's anything that 36 years of life experience has taught me is that the things you value most rarely come easy.

My highest impact as an investor after taking few losses was when i started looking more critically on how professionals manage risk over generations, not seeking the instant gratification of a temporary dopamine kick but I have to attribute this only to guidance of a expert licensed broker, Jeremy Richard Deering who diversifies my portfolios without beating myself up about how to beat the market.

I see that some people doesn't like his attitude. But my impression is that he has seen so many beginners making the same mistakes, feels really bad for them and genuinely wants to help. I can see that he really means what he'a talking about.

I chuckled so hard I had to come back and watch it just to see his disappointed face and hear him sigh. :)

Hey, how do we know how the "general market is doing" in relation to our profit / loss. Is there a website I can use to see the general market trends like viewing a normal stock?

Very good video, with very good sighs! I learnt a number of these exact things by burning a bit here and there. Wish I had run into this video a couple of years ago.

My issue is that I investigate what I have interest in. What I am finding is everything has good things and bad things. Makes it hard to decide. The dividend percentages to me are important but most of the ones with higher percentages are not good long term. I been looking at few you suggested as well as some I had in mind. I don’t play around, I try to be safe. Consider the P.E ratio as well as their 5 year performance.
