Teme with Singletons Drilling built a new rig, and i recorded the first well he starts drilling with it. He explains how he designed and rebuilt the rig from his old one. We raise and level the derrick. Place the mud pan and fill with water. Drill hole for conductor pipe and mix some mud. This video stopped short of what i wanted it to be a complete drilling video. I decided to end it after i played some footage back and heard the wind noise so much. I have since months later was able to record more video of his new rig. I have decided to save as much of the video as possible and have edited out the bad windy parts and or added subtitles. So i apologize ahead of time for the wind noise, set the volume low enough so you still can hear Teme and it wont be as noticeable.
Thanks for watching and Stay tuned uploading the Part 2 video tomorrow!

Looks good! I like the extra steps like the plumbing to the rear and lock valves on the outriggers. I bet the new mud pump will make a huge difference on cleaning the hole out compared to the old one. Looking forward to part two. Kenny

Kenny Kemp Thanks Kenny, yep Tim took several months earlier this year to build the new rig after the trailer was ready. Part 2 is tonight but it won't continue from first well drilled, but from Monday of this week on well 30 or so, since then. Also a heads up it's going to be a long one, I was able to video the setting of casing and blowing of well this time. Take Care, Casey

Do you not pump water down hole? Guessing you can’t pump mud as this will mess the water in the reservoir up.

Hello. How do you protect your pump after work - I think about cylinde and valves because rust and corrosion. Where you bought this pump??? I waiting for answer and wish you the best in NEW YEAR
@ClearWaterPumpWell
@ClearWaterPumpWell 5 жыл бұрын
Mr Teme breaks the pump down after every well drilled. He pulls the sleeves off and cleans out mud and sand. Putting everything back together with just some spray lube to prevent rusting and seizing. Not sure where he bought the pump, I'll have to ask. Take it easy man and thanks for the comment, happy new year!

I Think it's a 7-1 /2 x 10.....called a "grout" pump. Should order it with the 2 piece pistons or they will hate when they have to work on it. "what Teme said"

Ok i will answer the best i can, Temes Rig he built can only go about 350' due to the chains weight capacity. He can drill up to 8" holes for 6" well casing but is ideal for 4" casing. He can usually drill around here at 100' per hour but he takes his time and you have to when water well drilling. If you drill to fast you can miss the sand you are trying to make a well in. He has spent well over 50,000 on various new, used and rebuilt parts that made this rig.

That's bentonite clay mud mix, used to thicken the water and bring up drill cuttings. Adding more at the end can help finish cleaning out the sands left in borehole to make casing easier to install.

Great videos. I'm getting a tiny rig that drills on the same principles. How do you guys grout the casing? And is putting the air house down the only thing you do to develop the well? How many cfm air pump does it need to be? Thanks!
