During The Medieval Era people married off as early as 14 years, for a myriad of reasons one being lifespan, if one managed to life up until 25-30 you were considered blessed! If you somehow managed to make it past 50, you were an honored elder!

Infant mortality was incredibly high due to poor medical knowledge, resulting in the average lifespan being skewed heavily towards the younger side. But if you made it past like, 5 years old (not an exact number), you would probably live up to 50-60 years old, sometimes going as far as 70-80. Hell, the Roman Emperor Justinian I lived to 83, and that’s with classical-era medicine (which was arguably worse than medieval-era medicine. Contrary to popular belief, technology was not *lost* during the “Dark Ages {Early medieval period}, but the infrastructure and logistics from the Roman Empire had collapsed instead). None of this was super important, I just sperg out about shit like this

(They weren't really part of it and we're mostly used as chaff in the most literal sense, if they dared disobey the lord that they were conscripted by they were either killed on the spot or had other members of their family were mistreated ex wife was raped, son was killed their daughters same as their mothers etc, contrary to popular belief Knights were douchebags, same for samurais)

Doesn't really count in his case, because it's just mental age we're talking about. And he's stuck in his chunnibyou phase, both in his previous life and this one. So mentally he's more or less the same. The only difference is his accumulated knowledge, aka "shadow wisdom", as well as martial training. Plus age maturity normally comes from experiencing all the things that come with growing up. For example, how would a teen know what it's like to be an adult with responsibilities, if they never reached that point in life because they died and started all over again? All they know about is being a teen. It's like repeating a grade.
