The fact that he didn’t die from that flying knee from Anderson shows just how tough and dedicated to winning he is. At first I thought Silva won that fight but after watching it a second time bisping definitely won that fight.
@frankspencer56022 жыл бұрын
Yea i agree fully.. First i thought it was a gimme but i watched it a few more times and yea he defo won 3 rounds and Anderson went down in my estimations after the flying knee, i know it was Bispings own fault not protecting himself but I felt it was a dirty low blow on Silva's part. And if i remember right he also threw punches after the bell in that fight as well
@anon24272 жыл бұрын
He’s an Englishman what do you expect! Tough bastards
@TrumpsaTerroristChangeMyMind Жыл бұрын
Bisping was dominating until that cheap flying knee and ik the rules but that was dirty like a fake glove touch like it’s legal but expect to get boo’d during your interview… Only after getting compromised did the fight get competitive but i did give bisping 3rds while anderson sure as hell didn’t get close to a 10-8 so anderson 100% lost Round 3 was bispings even until that last sec where anderson arguably stole it with that flying knee so whatever way you score it bisping won 3rds
@kingt0295 Жыл бұрын
Idk why people even say Silva won that one, Bisping even dropped Silva to match that knee it’s not like Silva had one extremely dominant almost TKO and bisping was point fighting

Every time someone comes out with a documentary about Michael Bisping I have to watch it and they never get old. His story and the journey he went on to achieve success and accomplish his dreams is more then awesome. He's a true warrior with sheer grit and determination; a great man inside and outside the cage who dug deep and found the courage to never give up or let failure stop him and that's what makes a person a winner. He has the heart to inspire and motivate anyone, to teach people that quitting is not an option. Michael Bisping is the definition of perseverance! ...it's funny, I have to mention this because when you read this I feel like I'm also talking about Charles Oliveira so I could honestly say the same exact thing for him. I never get tired of the documentary’s people make on him too, his story is amazing. He's another great example of what it means to be a winner in life; an inspiration who went through all the hardships a person could face but never quit when life knocked him down and the odds were stacked against him. He’s a fighter that overcame adversity and persevered through all his trials and tribulations. It’s guys like them who give light and hope to people all over the world no matter what their circumstances are… I hope Charles gets the belt back from Islam in the rematch, it would be such an incredible moment if he does. I’m sure everyone will be rooting for him… I know I’ll be.🤞Good luck champ and god bless!

Mike was the people's champion! This guy never gave up even though he faced so many things that were totally unfair, try being just one..... But just the fact that he was the champion at 37 years old, long after many retired, and the fact he did it with a major debilitation, having only one eye, shows his grit and determination and his worthiness to own the championship belt!!!!

on paper...if you wrote out Bisping's story exactly how it happened and tried to make it into a movie people would think its pure fiction. Like, you cant have the main character have a bad neck, bad back, bad knees, one eye and win the belt on a late-notice. Even in Rocky 1, going the distance was enough...but Bisping actually captured the title like the maniac he is. amazing stuff.

There are living legends among legends. Mike is real. Her really did that. If you are facing adversity in life, if you feel like the cards are stacked against you, if you are facing set back after set back, here is your inspiration. You only fail if you quit. He never quit, that was the key to his success. As an English man whose favourite sport is MMA, Mike is the living embodiment of what it is to be a Champion, a fighter, a true living legend. The UK fighters are stepping up now, I think when Tom's knee rehab is done, we'll see not just another Englich UFC Champion, but potentially a new heavy weight GOAT. Watch this space. Thanks for everything Mike. Long may you keep cracking me up as a commentator and pundit.

But as I saw him evolve as a fighter and understood why he did and said a lot of what he did, I started to like him. Towards the end of his fighting I was a fan. I wanted so badly to see him beat Silva and Rockhold. He earned those and he never got popped for PEDs. I was torn on the GSP fight honestly. I'm glad he reached the top, I'm sorry he lost his vision for it. But dang if his heart and determination wasn't inspiring. Well done good sir.

I'm from Preston and we loved him all along i didn't know his dad was in the QLR which is a preston Regt with its former HQ in fulwood barracks, back when life in Preston was grim and the local team was mediocre at best he was awesome for the town,. Still proud of him and what he has achieved we have that cheeky Lancashire banter which to some ppl we have too much to say, But its just how we speak here. I'll be honest when he first appeared in the USA and i saw subtitles for when he spoke i was pretty pissed off and insulted tbh. But hey that's just me, Mr proud of my roots just like Michael is.
